SongDo Restaurant 송도식당

Haven't dined at SongDo in Browns Bay for a few years now. Was lucky to get a table cos they were pretty busy!nnTried their pork soup with rice and was very satisfied - delicious, rich soup that didn't really need extra seasoning, super tender pork belly slices, and no overwhelming pork smell.nnTheir side dishes were great too stir fried potato, fish cake, bean sprouts and kimchi - the kimchi was especially good. Definitely needed a refill of that one.nnNice menu options - I'll need to come back to try their fried chicken!

Really good korean food. They're always jampacked with people willing to wait for 30 minutes during peak hours. Us included! We've tried so many dishes from their menu and everything we've tried was great.nnIf you are willing to wait, you can walk around or do some window shopping in New World or Chemist Warehouse nearby. There are benches across the road too. There's Browns Bay Library too if they're still open.

Altang probably is the best I have in Auckland area, the fried chicken is also quite nice, and all the side dishes are very fresh. Highly recommended!

One of the best Korean restaurant over the shore, food is great portion, authentic and side dishes are generous too. My favourite is beef bone soup, I don’t think you can find anywhere else better than this one. Highly recommend

Been on a bit of a Korean craze these days for some reason. This is another gem. Why don't we have more good Korean restaurants in central :nEverything here is delicious. Please try it all. You won't regret it.
