We had a lovely lunch at Black Antler in Browns Bay with friends, and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for catching up over good food and drinks.nWe ordered a mocha, cappuccino, and a classic big breakfast, along with their Margarita pizza. Everything was delicious and well-prepared – the coffee was rich and smooth, the breakfast hearty and satisfying, and the pizza had the perfect balance of flavor and crispness.nThe staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s definitely a spot that makes you feel comfortable and taken care of.nOverall, Black Antler is a fantastic place to relax with friends over quality food and drinks. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I had such a fantastic experience dining here by the beach! The menu has an incredible variety, with something to suit every taste, and each dish is thoughtfully put together. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.nnThe food itself was outstanding — generous portion sizes, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. Unlike so many other places where dishes can taste bland or one-note, every bite here had real depth and seasoning. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the quality of ingredients and the preparation.nnBetween the unbeatable beachside setting, the friendly service, and the food that truly delivers on taste, this is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience dining at Black Antler Eatery in Browns Bay. We ordered the lasagna, sirloin steak, a kids meal, and finished off with a delicious crepe for dessert. Everything was well-prepared and tasty.nnThe service was friendly, and the restaurant has a lovely aesthetic both indoors and out. The outdoor dining area comes with a nice view of Browns Bay Beach, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.nnThe menu is diverse with lots to choose from, including great coffee. It's also in a great location, there are plenty of nearby shops to explore after your meal, and the beach playground is perfect if you're dining with kids. Highly recommend checking it out!

This is by far the most disgustingly awful restaurant I’ve ever been to — so bad that even fast food tastes better in comparison. The pasta arrived completely cold; could it possibly be leftover food? I’ve never eaten anything this revolting in New Zealand. It had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The seafood was tiny and pitiful — obviously cheap ingredients at a glance. I felt completely scammed. My son and I paid $68, yet it felt like we were eating a pile of rubbish. The food was utterly inedible.nnAttached are real photos — anyone who goes there is asking for trouble. I will definitely not return, and I will make sure more people know just how disgusting the food is here, so nobody else falls victim to this rip‑off. We don’t need future communication and you just send us a wrong email address, and I don’t need money return, I just want to let everyone know that my child ate a few dollars’ worth of fries, and your disgusting chicken burger was barely touched — he hardly took a bite. I tried a few bites myself and almost threw up. It had absolutely no taste at all, just a greasy fried smell. That pasta was the most disgusting food I have ever eaten in my life — nothing could be worse.nnTo be honest, after leaving your restaurant, I took my child to eat at another place, but he still wasn’t full. Your restaurant was simply a waste of my time. I just want to share my true experience with everyone. I don’t want any financial compensation.
