What a ripoff price! A small bowl of Seafood chowder cost $35 and came with burnt toast instead of bread?! Share plate steak taste super hard on the outside that we had to leave some behind. Came with over fried fries and very cheap salad. Did not complain because did not want to make a fuss on New year eve.nnA very let down night for our celebration. Super expensive and not nice food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Warning: Please go if you want to get ripped off, so be prepared to break your bank!!!!nnInstead of admitting your “cut corners” way of doing business, here are the photos showing the cheap salad. Please tell me where are the green apples, burnt lemon vinaigrette you mentioned???nnA small bowl of seafood chowder with super burn toast for $20 is considered “ VERY CHEAP “ for you??? That’s a ripped off way to charge customers!!!!!!! You can keep arguing but customers are smart enough to realize after 1 visit, so good luck.

I pop here for lunch pretty often — their two-course deal with a glass of wine for $45 is great value. The food’s consistently good and service is quick, perfect for a workday break.nnThinking of bringing the whānau for dinner next time — they’ve got a solid steak range, even wagyu from NZ, Australia, and Japan. I could smash a 1.1kg tomahawk steak on my own tbh.

Been there a few times before and enjoyed the food.nNow standard has dropped massively,nordered Medium Rare and got Well Done burnt steak.nOne of the waiter looks like having a really bad day.nnGood luck in this economy.

Great place to enjoy steak, pricy with worthwhile come to try this for the first time. Kids meal portion is quite good and the steak tasted great. We had the T-Bone and had it medium well as we don’t like the blood and it was cooked to perfection. Staff are really nice the location is just next to the beach which the back entrance with the bar inside. Front entrance is the main dining area with the open kitchen. Recommend to book in advice as it is very popular.
