I pop here for lunch pretty often — their two-course deal with a glass of wine for $45 is great value. The food’s consistently good and service is quick, perfect for a workday break.nnThinking of bringing the whānau for dinner next time — they’ve got a solid steak range, even wagyu from NZ, Australia, and Japan. I could smash a 1.1kg tomahawk steak on my own tbh.

Visited not too busy ordinary day afternoon.nnSteak was okay. Nothing special.nPork chop was terrible. Too salty, never wanna try again.nnThe staff were friendly, but they did not care even if my friend dropped her fork, they even looked at it, did nothing.nnWould not like to visit again.

Been there a few times before and enjoyed the food.nNow standard has dropped massively,nordered Medium Rare and got Well Done burnt steak.nOne of the waiter looks like having a really bad day.nnGood luck in this economy.

Really love coming here with the hubby and teenagers for drinks and snacks and sitting at the high tables at the beach end. It's the kind of place you can dress up a bit more and not feel overdressed or stupid! Service is generally ok, the Chinese waiters are so nice and friendly. Snack food is super yummy. The decor is nice, really like the led lighting that changes colors and the bathrooms are nice. The screens are also great for the sports fans! The restaurant is lovely too and goes without saying the steaks are incredible. Love the relaxed but stylish vibe. Highly recommend

Great place to enjoy steak, pricy with worthwhile come to try this for the first time. Kids meal portion is quite good and the steak tasted great. We had the T-Bone and had it medium well as we don’t like the blood and it was cooked to perfection. Staff are really nice the location is just next to the beach which the back entrance with the bar inside. Front entrance is the main dining area with the open kitchen. Recommend to book in advice as it is very popular.
