Booked for the buffet at 7.45pm post Queenstown Marathon for 6 people.nnAny restaurant that needs a gondola trip up to u know the views will be good!!nnViews 10/10! Not only on trip up as saw mountain goats etc but from the viewing platform and bar!nnWe paid extra to ensure a window seat and was worth the extra money as was outstanding views of Queenstown and the surrounding mountains!nnFood, to be honest you really couldn’t fault the food! Everything was absolutely amazing!nPost Mara we were hungry so we hit the buffet. The meat/grill section was honestly where I spent most my time! Pork, venison, grilled salmon oh just fantastic!nI’m not a sweets/dessert person but I did have some and it was delicious!nHome made ice cream Black Forest, chocolate brownie, lemon tart…..nnWhilst this isn’t a cheap option for a reward for post marathon and was also 2x girls birthdays it was worth it for the food and location/experience!!
A fantastic experience while in Queenstown. Budget for at least an hour or two to be at the top as well. There is a restaurant or just drinks section coffee and justices too. There is a shop with gifts and clothes, there are a few photo opportunities, and lots of other activities if you want them as options. We had a great time, had next to no wait time we came around midday on a Saturday.nYou can also buy tickets online, but you don't have to.
The fast gondola with 8 seats and 2 bike carriers brings you up in 15 minutes. There is a viewing platform, a luge track, hiking, skiing nearby, a large restaurant, photography, a souvenir shop and a cafeteria. Many areas are still under construction. A round trip plus buffet dinner is about 90€.nParking is in the big garage or small lot or 4h. parking at the street.nAt the bottom you can find lots of activities like bird sanctuary, skydiving, ice bar, regular bars etc.
The Skyline Gondola and Luge experience in Queenstown is a must-do! My partner and I booked the gondola together, and the ride up offered incredible views of the town and Lake Wakatipu. While he had a blast racing down the Luge track, I enjoyed the stunning scenery and capturing videos of him in action on the track.nnIt’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, with something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a thrill or just want to take in the views, this experience won’t disappoint!
Just loved this place so well organized and very friendly staff, the skyline was totally worth it especially the Luge… the kids loved it. The best part is the photos taken are token for you to download free of cost which is the first place I’ve known to do this… loved the day here especially the lookouts and the Cafe were fantastic
