We went here to do the meal and star gazing, unfortunately the star gazing was cancelled due to cloud cover but that's life up a mountain, the meal was great so much food to choice from and puddings.nWe went here earlier to see the views breathtaking, you can just go up for the views there's also a luge track. Mountain bike track down the mountain.nyou can also walk up a track to the top it's about 1 hour.
Spectacular Views and Fun Activities – A Must-Do in Queenstown!nnThe Queenstown Skyline Cable Car is an absolute must-do when visiting the area. The parking facilities next to the ticket office were convenient and made accessing the cable car hassle-free. The ride itself is thrilling, with a steep incline offering breathtaking views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, and the surrounding mountains.nnAt the top, 450 meters above Queenstown, there’s plenty to do. There's a fantastic restaurant, a kiosk for coffee and snacks, and a souvenir shop.nThe viewing platform is perfect for soaking in the panoramic views, and if you're up for some adventure, you can try the luge track, bungee jumping, or explore the walking and mountain biking tracks.nnWhether you’re looking for stunning scenery or adrenaline-packed activities, the Queenstown Skyline Cable Car has it all. Highly recommend!
Had a blast with the family. Kids absolutely loved the gondola and the luge. Don't do less than 6 rides ! And definitely book online to jump the queues. There was some construction taking place, but it did not bother us in any way. Fantastic day.
Yes it is expensive!!! But, see the whole prospective and then decide nnWe had the best supper I've had, all around the world!!!!!nnThe drinks are really out priced!!!!nnThey can surely have a look at the liquor prices. If it was better priced, my group would have had 5 to 6 more rounds, 11 people but we rather had our supper up on the Ski Line, and went for drinks down in the city central.nnBut really good food, magnificent views, come down after sunset, and you see all Queenstowns lights also!!!
Love this place! My kids love riding the luge and we went to the one in Rorotua first. As we have similar one here, we decided to take the unlimited rides for the 4 of us.nnWe came here since early morning, right when this place was open. It helped us get the parking spot and get the line to the gondola as well as the luge early. As you know, we have more visitors in the afternoon. We bought the ticket online as they do offer many packages as well.nnThe gondola ride itself is already exciting. Beautiful view to enjoy from above and along the way up. The luge is super fun.. there are 2 choices of route. The lines are neat, helmets are available, and the staff always make sure all is securely in tact.nnWe also enjoy the lunch in the restaurant as well as the souvenir shop. After getting tired of riding the luge, we also took lots of photos in the surrounding area near the cafe.nnHappy to go back here again
