Unforgettable Skyline Gondola & Luge Experience!nnWe had an amazing time at Skyline Gondola! The ride up offered stunning views, and the staff were super friendly. The highlight was definitely the luge – so much fun and perfect for all ages. It was a thrilling, scenic, and memorable experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
The tram is a beautiful ride, the luge is super fun, even as a 40 year old adult, it was a blast. You'll want to go at least 3 times, I did 6 runs and wanted more. The whole mountain complex is still under construction but it's not inconvenient, it'll just keep getting better. The view from the top alone is worth it. Highly recommended little adventure. We spent 1.5 hours here before we boarded out flight to leave.
A must do in Queenstown. Not so busy during the week.nBeautiful scenery as you head to the top and a great cafe.nWe did 3 x luge rides do much fun suitable for just about anyone with some restrictions regarding children of course.nLoved our time here.
Took the Gondola + Luge combo at the Skyline. The Gondola ride is nice with the panoramic views of Queenstown getting better and better as you reach the top. At the top there is a viewing deck - again great views of Queenstown from here. There is a restaurant and gift shop as well on top.nThe luge ride was fun, the kids and family enjoyed it. The lights around the luge ride at night was also very nice.nAmple car parking number plates are auto sensed, took sometime to figure out the logistics of parking and making payments - might have been better if some information is displayed on this
We scheduled the luge, stargazing, dinner option. The views during the daytime were great, we also did the short loop trail at the top near the luge track. Dinner had a vegan option-clearly marked with a plant based section. They also had a couple vegan dessert options.nnDid the luge in the morning and there wasn’t a queue. Stargazing was cancelled due to weather and they were quick to offer a refund or rebook that portion of the reservation. Glad we did the dinner once, but would have booked as lunch if could do it again-views were definitely more breathtaking in the daylight.
