Only about 20 mins along the top, it’s pretty flat until the last bit to the car park. Also you can’t really walk anywhere from the car park but you can keep going along the top. Lots of blackberrys as well
Nice, quiet, walking track. If you keep going for 30 minutes past the fork that points to the car park, there is a power pole on a rock area that has some grass and nice views just off the track. You can walk for another 10 minutes then it started going downhill so we turned around and went back.
A few hundred meters to walk for spectacular views of the lake and mountains, from Arawata Terrace. The walk reaches the main road to Glenorchy but there is no lake access from there. About 1500m long. Great bird life too.
Short and Easy walk by Sunshine Bay down to the main road by the Lake
Great walk above Sunshine Bay. We went up from 1 Mile parking, which is a step but short climb, then along the top street to the start of the track
