Shaolin Kung Fu Noodle

For lunch for a party of three, I ordered lamb skewers, spicy cleaver cut beef noodles, lamb fried noodles, seafood dumplings, black fungus and cucumber salad. I liked the cleaver cut noodles the best, but everything was good. I ordered the lamb skewers Medium spicyI’ve never had the choice to select spiciness in the past at other places. I thought I was getting wide noodles for the fried noodles, but it was regular noodles. Seafood dumplings were unique, it has Shirmp and fish for sure and maybe something else. I have never had dumplings that had fish in it, so it was a new taste for me, but it was good. I usually like pork dumpling the most, but they didn’t have pork dumplings here. COLD CLEAVER SLICED BEEF NOODLES - A must have dish! The cleavered Noodle describes the way the noodle is made, in which a large lump of Noodle batter, is cleaved off and then boiled. It gives a unique chewy texture which is really nice. The soy and sweet cold sauce, along with the cold beef and cucumber makes for the perfect dish. The staff member was friendly, offering to show where the water and cups were. Key thing to note is, you need to order at the counter and it is written around the place. Vegetarian options: Tofu variants available. Parking: Wilson car park, or nearby streets

Halal restaurant. I ordered vegetarian fried rice, I think it has too much vinegar. The portion is big and the place is clean.

Pleasantly surprised by this understated Chinese restaurant on upper Queen St. All the ingredients were very fresh, portions were generous and most importantly the food wS DELICIOUS! Great flavours and very generous portions of meat! The service was very friendly too and the place was spotless. We'll be back.

The worst beef noodle soup I’ve ever had. The broth was the water the noodles were cooked in so it was white colored. A little oil, some small pieces of meat and a few vegetable leaves were added. They have no shame here, do not pay upfront.

Chicken with chilli is the best one I have ever tasted!! The chicken is well cooked and tender, with their special chilli sauce. The sauce is somehow sweet but truly spicy, which I really enjoyed as a spicy-dish lover. The service is prompt and the price is reasonable with the portion sizes. Will come again for this dish.

Halal food. Awesome lamb fried noodles, grill chicken and lamb are also fascinating, wide ranging flavours of dumplings, deliver to your door. Open all the time, super friendly staff made ordering quick and easy. No high chair. Great western Chinese food place. Highly recommend.

Got the hand cut noodle with beef soup. The broth was extremely salty, and the beef was kind of dry and a very small portion. They were kind to add some bok choy when I asked to add vegetables.

After ages looking for a place just like this, busy with patrons and bustling with life, with my final breathe of effort I stumbled upon Shaolin Kung Fu Noodles. I soon had a spicy beef soup, brimming with spectacular and chewy cleaver cut noodles, wonderfully full of flavour and exactly what this windy afternoon sorely needed. Only $13 later, I was happily shuffling out, wondering what I will try next time.. Perhaps one of the fine dishes I saw everyone else getting. In classic Chinese style, the menu is huge, and lucky for me, so is my appetite.

Great food. Son and I always go for cleaver cut chicken noodle and lamb dumplings. Really good value and yum. Get over the decor. Just eat.Food: 5/5
