Fast and does the job, this place is efficient and authentic! Sitting next to strangers and sharing tables, this just reminds me of China! The noodles were great and chewy, definitely authentic and homemade! The cold beef was a bit dry, we weren’t a big fan, but the noodle soup made up for it! I also liked my scallion dry noodle, I just wish it used thin noodles instead of thick, as I’m more used to that kind from Shanghai :
We took these dishes I’ve written the name under the photos. It was delicious and the best noodles in London. First time trying the cold noodles; it was a different Taste but nice to try a new flavour! The pulled chilli noodles were much more delicious than the cold noodles. I highly recommend it for noodles in London.
I was finally able to try this gem out since it landed here in Chinatown. My friend raved about their braised pig intestine so I had to give it a go. The noodles were slightly hard but great. The intestines were soaked with the broth which made it an all round delicious and chewy concoction noodle dish. The pig ears offered a spicy and fragrant kick with a gelatinous and slightly crunchy texture. Portions were quite good for the price and the price itself was reasonable. I would pay to eat it again. As a warning, these dishes are spicy. Considering my low spice tolerance, it was somewhat bearable. Overall the food was lovely and I would come here again. Service was quite prompt and fast-paced as they’re usually very busy and popular.
This place is a hidden gem, the food is banging along with the generous portion size. My partner and i always visit when we go to London. However, there is limited options for non spicy eaters! The hand pulled noodles are well worth the price.
Kung Fu Noodles is a nice place for a tasty and affordable Chinese meal in London's Chinatown. For delicious noodles and cold dishes at a great price, it's hard to beat. The menu is packed with familiar Chinese fare like steaming bowls of beef noodle soup, pickled vegetable noodle soup, and cold noodles. The food is fresh and flavorful, made even better when slurped and shared with friends. The service is always friendly and fast, perfect if you're in a hurry. And while the atmosphere is no-frills, that's part of the charm. You come here for the simple pleasure of authentic Chinese street food, not fancy decor. For under £15 per person, you get to enjoy a casual, satisfying meal prepared with care and expertise that always hits the spot. Kung Fu Noodles succeeds because it focuses on doing one thing - handmade Chinese noodles - really well. If you're looking for an easy, traditional Chinese meal in the heart of Chinatown, you can't do better than letting the masters at Kung Fu Noodles serve you up a delicious bowl of noodles. For flavor, value and atmosphere, I rate it 4 out of 5 stars. My only complaint is that soup can be a bit more flavourful only spicy taste.
Nice noodle restaurant at China Town. Ordered the Lan Zhou Beef Hand-Pulled Noodles which offer a spicy or non-spicy version and with a choice of noodles and extra toppings with additional charge. I chose the Thick noodles but didn’t really like it as much as it just tasted like spaghettis. But the wide and extra wide noodles might have been better. Soup base was really nice though packed with a lot of flavours and with a touch of mild spiciness. The beef was also nice. Not many drinks options and drinks were just the drinks you can get from the supermarkets. Customer service is ok. This place is very busy so expect a long wait of up to 30mins before you can get a table. Overall it was decent.
I am surprised to find the low rating. Both ramen and beef are very tasty. The texture of the ramen is very good, and the red hot chilly oil is made nicely and goes very well with the beef. Really enjoyed my choices and will visit again next time I am in China Town.Recommended dishesRamen
Customer service was friendly. Easy to decode menu: select your noodle type, spicy or not, toppings. Portion is quite large and there’s a heap of beef hidden inside the fragrant broth. You can see the chefs in the open kitchen cutting or hand pulling the noodles prepared as ordered. Very warming bowl of noodle for a winter day. Would return to try other goodies on the menu.
Was absolutely delicious! The queue was pretty efficient and worth it to me. I can't judge the authenticity but most of the customers were Chinese speaking and waiters were addressing them in Chinese as well. This was the slightly spicy hand pulled noodles with beef
Newly opened Chinese “lamian” noodle restaurant. Food itself is tasty, restaurant is very busy, we queued outside for 15 minutes. If you are 1 person or 3 people, you are expected to share table very other eater.
