What a delight to find amazing food so close to where we stayed. The crispy chicken in sweet and sour sause was the best I have tasted in a long time. The rice was perfectly cooked and there was a beautiful amount of kick to the dish. We will eat here everytime we come to Auckland. Love it.Food: 5/5

It's usually a quiet place to eat. They also do take away ... food was nice and cooked very fast. Just remember to ring the little bell on the counter to get their attention when u enter in there in case they are busy cooking in the inner kitchen. The stir fried pork was very yummy...

We had an amazing experience here! Lovely staff with great service and absolutely delicious food. Great for a late night feed.

I ordered a takeaway from Hobson Express Cafe & Takeaway via the app EASI on. Few spoons into the food, there was a piece of hair and some already been chewed meat in the food. I felt unwell and was constantly gagging trying to vomit out what I have eaten. so disgusting.

uhahaha i found nice place!!! northern style bei fang chinese do not expect any additional vege comes with! if you ordered chicken? just chicken comes! if you ordered eggplant? just eggplant come! but it's 5 star! perfect done main does not need any side vege. haha so yum!

I mean, generally speaking, if the fried rice is kinda "meh" then what can you expect from the rest? I consider fried rice to be one of the staples of Chinese cuisine and if you don't bother putting any soy sauce in it and the rice is only lightly tossed in a wok and comes out looking really just like wet steamed rice then it might give me the impression that the rest of the menu is treated with a similar level of casual disregard.

Good portion and the food is nice but I find bit oily. It is nearer to my house and like most of the items in the menu.

I went to this restaurant today with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is a hidden gem and we were pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. I've had minced chicken and corn soup before but this was by far the best I've had. The size of the soup was enough for 4 servings. I ordered sweet and sour pork with rice and could tell right away the chicken had been marinated - as in they took time to cook that bad boy, which is why I was even more amazed that the wait time was so short. I can't remember what my friend ordered but essentially it was pork, potatoes, and rice. We sampled each others food and ended up going for seconds from each others share hahahah. Nah man, I had to write a solid review to big-up this place. My friend and I definitely plan on returning with more friends!
