Very bad experience, we visited this place after being so tired from the trip. Food was sooo oily and honestly zero taste. Portions were so little for so much money. They had this garlic paratha for 5$ and it turns out to be frozen paratha. Samosa was dripped and lifted from oil. They were having this private party and there were at least 50 people in the group. And the manager of that group was literally drinking beer and was roaming in the entire restaurant. Above that he was eating with half a dozen plates on reception table, where people go to pay. Such a bad experience, never visiting this place again. That 1star is also for their waiter.
Only giving 4 stars because the food took so long to get to the table but it was delicious. We had various dosas and they were all so yummy. My friend had a fish curry and that was good too. Definitely coming back with my husband as I want him to try their dosas Vegetarian options: Lots of south indiam veg fishes and i am sure they are all yummy Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room Parking: Can park on the side streets and walk
It’s a small place tucked away at the end of K road but it is busy as hell and there are couple of reasons for that. The South Indian food here that we had on this occasion was excellent. Entrees here are also great, they only thing I found weird was big potatoes in chicken and fish entrees. They got our order wrong at times but we’re more than happy to accomodate it. Best to book ahead for this place as it gets very busy and they did seem hard pressed to serve everyone on time but managed it well. Good experience nonetheless, I will be recommending it to my mates.
The best Indian food my mom and I ever had!!! Authentic, spicy South Indian kitchen. Quick service. Both vegetarian and meat dishes perfectly seasoned! I loved it
Love our dinners here. Always delicious meals and so reasonably priced. Not fancy decor but always pleasant.Recommended dishesDahi Puri, Cheese Paratha, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Garlic Paratha, Butter Prawn, Roti
The food is OK - the price is reasonable. However some table are dirty and messy when we got there. The staff didn’t do the table. Also when female staff put the metal cups on the table, she made very loud voices - literally the cups are like dropping on the table.
An excellent place to enjoy the Indian food and Indian cultural heritage. The interior is made in such a way that gives you the feeling of being in India. The food is awesome and staff is very friendly. Very Busy on weekends. Fantastic place for family and big group dinner plans. They give complimentary sweets if your celebrating birthday or anniversary here.
Overall wouldn't come back here again. Service: - Booked in advance for a large group, but had to wait 15m for a table. - Passive aggressive customer service and unwritten restaurant 'policy': 1 person wanted to order just a entree, but was refused at first due to a 'rule' that 1 main had to be ordered per person, which was not shown anywhere. When asked about this rule, the server became passive aggressive and rude for the duration of dinner. + Tried to give a random free main in the middle of dinner? Tried to refuse but they insisted and said it was free but... - Overcharged us, which we did not know about until after we left, which wouldn't have happened if they didn't have their 1 bill/table policy. Food: - Was ok, a few people on my table left more than half of their main dish. Price: - High for mains, small portions, no side included. The sides are also expensive, rice ranging from $4-6 per 1 person serving + The only thing I would come here for is the $5 per bottle BYO
Decent food, nothing to rave about. We were a table of 14 for a birthday. Ordered a few entrees and then we all had a main each. Like other reviews state we were only told about the way the bill is split up equally amongst the whole group doesn’t make sense. Not only that, they have way too much rice to the table that wasn’t requested and we were charged for, we weren’t made aware of the way the bill is divided considering most groups in were large. I feel it’s an easy way for them to make more money off a large table via this whole tactic of delivering extra food and then being charged for all of it. Really didn’t sit well with us and really over shadowed the rest.
Was happy with most of the service and the food was good but not great. However, I feel like the owner took advantage of our table by ordering over priced bowls of rice for the table. $4 for a small bowl of rice and $6 if you want it with a few pieces of cumin. I am disappointed that they had to ruin the experience by doing this.
