Saltwater Burger Bar

Great place with a cute garden! Been on my list so long, and it was worth a trip from St Heliers. We had Blue Moon and Portobello. Very tasty. Fries are great as well. Will come back!

Just had lunch here. Very impressed with the quality and size of the New York Cheese Burger I ordered. The burger patties were juicy and really well seasoned and the loaded fries I had on the side were also delicious. I feel that prices were very reasonable. They also have a beautiful garden area out the back to sit and eat. I will definately be back!

We couldn’t believe how many good reviews this place had… so we had to go and try! Indeed we did! Such a nice environment as well as the taste of the food. Prices are reasonable compared with what you get! Burgers are more than filling and chips are fresh too. We will definitely come back!

Popped in to grab some takeaways on the way home. Lovely service even though they were short staffed. Burgers were pretty good, nice flavours, cooked well and fresh buns. Tried the satay loaded fries and polenta chips, both tasty and fresh with a good crunch.Food: 4/5

Had been wanting to try this place for a long time after seeing the reviews. The burgers were OK. The buns were different in a good way though probably don't stand up to moisture the way other types might or could benefit from a moisture barrier but still had a nice feel to them. The ingredients are fresh and reasonably tasty. Reasonable value and ok size. I'd return if in the area and wanted a burger but probably wouldnt travel especially again.

Yum!! Tbh I didnt really expect much and there pictures don't do there burgers justice. But they are huge, way bigger then expected and so full of flavour and ingredients. Had the El scorchio, N.Y.C.B and seriously satay loaded fries. Everything was yum. I really enjoyed the El scorchio, the level of spice was perfect and the amount of prawns was great too. Deffinitly want to go back and try more flavours.

Tonight my friend and I waited almost 50 minutes for our food. I know that the restaurant does phone orders but we had 3 people order after us and still received their food. Was also told it was a 20 minute wait which was no worry to us but then it became 30 then 40 and then 50 minutes of waiting. I get up to ask how long until our order is ready and the lady said they are just preparing the food and if I could just take a seat. I was already annoyed at this point because we were told a time frame extra 10 minutes wouldn’t phase me but 20 minute yeah that’s a no from me I didn’t say thank you for the food because how the lady came from around the corner and presented herself to me. Also no apology for the wait ?! But I hope it was worth it you’ve definitely lost some customers tonight :

Went there for the very first time today my experience from the call for my order to picking it up and eating was absolutely amazing. This is one of the best burger places in Auckland, and that’s an understatement. The burger I tried, the doc was beautifully made with care. Depending on your burger you get, there is a different bun used. The buns on my burger were very crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside which made the burger that much better. The ingredients themselves were very fresh and very simple but very effective and amazing. They are very affordable considering the huge size of their burgers. The quality of the food and customer service is a definite 11/10. I would definitely recommend going here!

Decided to give it a go after hearing a mate going on about it. Must say, was a great decision. This place is a gem in Onehunga. The burgers are amazing. Love how the menu is displayed. Tried the lamb burger which was delicious and definitely one of the best ones around. The outdoor seating area at the back is really cool and funky. Would love to go back at night for a different feel.

Always come here for a good burger, prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are really good. Get the El Scorcho one of the best burgers I have eaten super delicious and filling!
