Had an absolutely beautiful dinner here with my partner, starting off with a beyond warm welcome and service that stayed consistently polite and professional throughout the entire night. The mussel pot as an entree was one of the best mussel dishes we have had in NZ, and generously portioned, with fantastic flavours. We almost got full from the entree alone. As a main we both went for venison which is served on a sizzle plate, and a choice of sides that were cooked to perfection. The venison was delicious, and a treat to be able to cook it exactly how you like it on the sizzle plate provided. Looking on their specials board, I was overall impressed with the amount of deals they offer throughout the week and the reasonable prices for everything offered.nAnother thing worth noting is how well done the cocktails were! The bartender was friendly and served up some lovely concoctions! If you go on a certain hour on Saturdays I believe 7pm-8pm then you get a great 2 for 1 deal. I will never complain about that! We will come back.n10/10.
Food was good when it eventually arrived about 1hr after ordering on a Saturday for lunch. Didn't seem hugely busy but maybe just not enough cooks on. Service was friendly enough. But when you have to go and ask about the food after 50 minutes of waiting for your burger it's not great.
Fantastic service with a smile! We went on a Tuesday and had the 2 for 1 pizza. Delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we’re going back tonight. It’s 2 for 1 Stone Grill. Check them out for daily specials….,
Best food in hanmer! Ordered the big breakfast, bloody good value and very tasty
Bad wasp problem outside area beside pool table. Staff where notified of the problem, where are possible wasp nest was under the deck as wasps were entering and exiting. Other than that great hospitality and food and service was top notch... lots of great deals on different days such as 2 for 1 pizza on Tuesday ... awesome place.
