Well we enjoyed our trip in Hanmer and this cafe was good to go for breakfast, except their pancake for kids tasted like McDonald’s and looked like one. My children did not eat their pancakes twice in a row two days in Hanmer and we came back here for breakfast, I suggest you order the big breakfast meal for kids with bacon and sausages, because they might end up discarding their pancakes are not the best.nnNonetheless, the other meals were served great, husband enjoyed his huge breakfast.
A short stroll from where we stayed at Gateway Lodge. As soon as we stepped in the staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive shout out to the French staff, once we had chosen where we wanted to sit our order was taken.nnWe ordered coffees, and the bacon and eggs breakfast special $13. Both were delicious. I really appreciate good coffee beand and my brew well made.nnThe environment was sunny, open and warm. Lots of families so good for all.nnHighly recommend. Happy to return.
A nice restaurant/ bar.nBeing directly across from the hotpools this place can get very busy.nnWe came for breakfast, it was a decent feed.nThe rain rolled in so we stayed for an early lunch time beer. nThey also have Guinness on tap.
The service is fantastic, it was ANZAC long weekend so very busy , but we found the servers amazing the food was a delightful surprise, yummy ribs , delicious sauce and our mains were top notch , Vennison and Salmon , as good as a fine dining restaurant, lots of kid noise but that's to be expected, the beer garden is beautiful too , highly recommend
The platter is the most recommended. Full of protein, ribs, chicken, seafood and veggies. Half platter enough for 2 people. We had Cosmopolitan and Strawberry Long Island were amazing!
