Sabaki Karate was founded in December 2013 and is an independent organization based in Auckland, New Zealand. The style is based on the principles of Sabaki fighting methods and is influenced by its roots in Japanese karate and its origin here in Aotearoa.

Sabaki Karate is an effective, practical modern style utilizing techniques which will not only work inside the dojo or in tournaments but also outside the dojo. Utilizing blocking, parries, punching and kicking techniques which form the basis of most karate styles,

Sabaki Karate also incorporates throwing, sweeping and grappling techniques.

Sabaki Karate is a true blend of traditional philosophy and contemporary fighting techniques suitable for all fitness levels, physical size, age and gender. The only pre requisites are that you challenge yourself and enjoy your training.

Sabaki Karate charges an annual training fee which is payable over 12 monthly installments on the 1st of every month.

There are no additional joining or grading fees.

Sabaki Karate does offer a family discount providing a 10% discount for the 2nd member, 20% discount for the 3rd and additional family members can train at no extra cost.

Annual Student Membership Fee: $480.00 ($40 per month)
2nd Family Member: $432.00 ($36 per month)
3rd Family Member: $384.00 ($32 per month)
Additional family members: $ No Charge
