Beautiful park with footpaths and play area for kids. Toilets available.nAlso some parking, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Great spot for a picnic or getting some exercise in on a good weather day.

Fantastic playground for younger kids - brought my two preschoolers here and they just loved it. Plenty to keep them occupied. Fully fenced however the gates don't auto-close so will need to keep an eye on them when someone leaves. Great for a picnic too however there is a lack of seating inside the fenced area, just seating and picnic table outside.

There is a wide range of equipment to balance, swing, climb, rock, spin and slide.nFor younger children there are lower options to climb and slide, interactive panels, toddler swings and a basket swing.nThe reserve itself is on the Tamaki Estuary with a large flat grassy area perfect for kicking a ball around or playing games.nThe park includes seating, picnic tables, public toilets and a drinking fountain.

Roberta Reserve is a hidden gem tucked away in Glendowie. It’s peaceful, open, and has such a calm vibe—perfect for families, dog walks, or just taking a moment to breathe. The reserve runs alongside the water with beautiful views, especially at sunrise or sunset.nnThere’s a great little playground for kids, plenty of space to kick a ball around, and shady spots to relax under. It’s never too crowded, and the mix of native trees, birdlife, and open space makes it feel like a proper local retreat.nnDefinitely one of those underrated neighbourhood spots you feel lucky to know about.
