Robert Harris Cafe

Decent customer service. Food the Chicken Burger is not good. Microwaved Chicken Takeout on barely cooked bun, garnished with 18 chips. Silly me I guess.

Very friendly service, the coffee was alot better than I expected. The tables and chairs outside are in need of some repairs, very rickety. Maybe ask the principal from valley school to help you fix them, he doesn't have much to do.Food: 3/5

I would definitely not recommend , especially if you are needing to use the toilet. Toilets were closed at 2pm whilst cafe was open, and when requested to use was told floors have been mopped so cannot go in because of health and safety. My friend really needed to use the facilities and when I asked if this was possible was told to go to public conveniences in Farmers. Eventually after me pointing out that was not appropriate for toilets to be cleaned whilst cafe open, that they should be mopped at the end of the day and friend could not wait any longer -sign was reluctantly pulled down and mop bucket moved out the way- although not for long! Ridiculous!!!!!!!

It is an quite enjoyable environment, tasty croissant and free wifi! Doesn't come with a car park, so park immediately if you find a spot in the street!Food: 5/5

Absolutely lovely staff, one especially. Great coffee and omg yummy food. Had the big breakfast and my daughter had eggs Benedict, soooooo scrummy! Highly recommend!

Pretty blown away that you pay $4 for a side of hash browns to accompany a $22+ eggs bene and you receive just 1 thin round hash brown in return. This eggs bene has to be the poorest value I've had in NZ. Do better Robert Harris!Food: 2/5

The lasagne was massive and tasty as... Was still cold in the middle when bought to me and then reheated and way too hot... The knives had bad water stains from the dishwasher... The neesish tarts just needed to be a bit more lemony

Food was ok, nothing fantastic. I ordered a bacon and egg muffin was ok. Partner order French toast we waited 40 mins for French toast to come out and it was average, definitely not worth the price tag. Food was coming out of the kitchen at snails pace. Would NOT come here at all.Food: 2/5

Service was absolutely terrible. Waited an actual hour for French toast which was average. Also waited an hour to be told they’d run out of stock to make a reboot smoothie, which I was only told when I asked where it was. Would not recommend. Staff are undertrained and do not seem to have the appropriate skills to be running a cafe on a Sunday morning.
