Spur of the moment dinner date that made hubby and I very happy! Generous portion of eye fillet steak for $45, which isn't listed on the menu but rather on the specials board. Cooked perfectly. Pork belly was divine and the cauliflower was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Service was good with greeting at the door, followed up quickly by drinks service and ordering. Nice atmosphere with a simple yet artful decor. Highly recommend.
Had a lovely dinner here tonight for a birthday celebration. We had trouble choosing from the great menu selection. I got the chicken, bacon with cream cheese, spinach and walnuts. I even remembered to take a photo My partner had T-bone steak and fries it was beautifully cooked and served with a flavored butter. We finished with Chocolate Torte and a cocktail. Both were delicious. Totally recommend and we'll be back.
Tried and tested establishment in the heart of Pukekohe. Had lunch with a group of friends. Overall meals were tasty. Coffee was good too. Would recommend the desert in the picture. I Order the special which was eye fillet. It wasn’t to my liking, with over cooked broccolini and croquettes that didn’t really have a taste. All the other food, pasta and risotto was top notch and thus the rating. Service was good.
Have been coming to the Monarch since I was a kid and never had a bad meal yet. Today was no exception . We hadn’t booked but they made room, food was fantastic, service was great, happily left a tip.Food: 5/5

First time I've been here. It was a great place to stop in and have a bite to eat. I had the eggs benedict and it was perfect. Service, food and drinks were awesome. Will definitely be back when we're in town again. Thank you :Food: 5/5
Don't go out for dinner much so this was a real treat and it did not disappoint. Food was phenomenal. My husband had pork belly, I had the market fish risotto and my mum had chilli prawn linguine. Would highly recommend all three. Our 2 year old son loved his bacon and creamy pasta from kids menu. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a memorable and family friendly night out. This place was amazing food awesome, best waitress in a long time anywhere. Only down fall was was got 6 Oysters tempura batter and charged $33.50. Abit over the top I thought.
