Muffin Break

It was quite a long wait to receive my muffin which I requested unheated so should have been quick to serve. Instead I received this several minutes after my coffee and my husband had his heated scone delivered. The table was wet, but I could not locate any napkins to dry it. Staff were busy, but relaxed. We sat by the window which was fine, but it doesn't have a pretty view or much of an ambience inside. Coffee was fine and the muffin was good.

We enjoy going to Muffin Break in Pukekohe. The team are lovely but we have noticed that the tables aren't always cleared straight away even when they are quite, when tables are wiped down they seem to still have food crumbs over the tables. But other than that we have had pleasant times here.

My friend and i walk into the cafe and we asked to share a sausage roll. We handed him the money and sat down. The food came and not only did he put it in 2 different plates, he drizzled tomato sauce on it and put some garnish on the side. By far the best cafe in Pukekohe. He was a very nice guy and thats why he deserves 5 stars.

The food was really very nice. The place was clean and tables were cleared. Staff were distracted when taking the order and didn't get everything this was quickly remedied.

I'm so embarrassed. I have never ever spat out food before. Smashed avo was doused in vinegar and so much so I was so gagging for ages. The eggs Benedict wasn't much better walked out. Enough said ?

Busy when we had lunch. Staff were nice. Food was good too . Nice play area for kids.Food: 4/5

The worst coffee I've ever had because of a lack of experience at work and because every time I see a different person, sometimes the chef is making coffee and food in an emergency, The service is not at all good. Rude behaviour. And pricey.

2 stars because this place actually has decent sized drinks. When you ask for a large coffee it's genuinely large. Well done. However been here twice now 30 and 45 minutes after opening time to find the cabinets almost empty and told the food is not ready yet. Not cool muffin break. I have a hungry fiancee who is now hangry. Goodbye peaceful weekend. Don't open your doors If you can't provide the service people come to you for. Boo.

Overall below average. Over priced, slow service despite not overly busy. Alright tasting.

TOTALLY recommend the chicken & Cranberry panini!!! It's DELISH... I had a Pineapple and Coconut muffin too... It was OK... I LOVE that you can tell them on your lunch break so they can do your order faster... Friendly staff...
