Rise and Shine Cafe

I've been a customer of Rise and Shine since moving to Barnet in September 2021. Both the quality and range of food available is fantastic, as is there personable service from the lovely team of staff who run it. Rarely do you see this kind of customer service any more which is why I am there most days for my lunch. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area for some food and drinks.

Nice place. Nice family business. Have been there several times in the past. Now I have heard they will have a different manager or owner. So I don't know how it is now having not been there yet. But it was a nice place before.

Got food poisoning possibly from most likely the eggs. Sausage and and bacon was quite dry. I sat outside and the service was almost non existent, had to go up myself twice to the counter because I wasn’t given a menu, and nobody came up to take my order. Stomach still hurts from the eggs today and I went yesterday! :Food: 1/5

Rare indeed is a breakfast-served-all-day cafe that has a clean toilet, this stands out as a exception. Smallest set breakfast consists of egg, sausage, 2 rashes of bacon, beans, 2 slices of toast and tea or coffee, the sausage and bacon were, surprisingly, not too salty either. In the present Weimar style inflation, all for £6.50, almost too good to be true. There were no shortage of staff front an back providing a fast friendly service. Secret ingredient: ethnic family run business?

The cafe is fine. The food and price was fine. Service was fine again, definite room for improvement as lacks warmth and personal touch. Staff are quite cold. I was a touch disappointed, which was my own expectations as the menu did not specify, to receive a soft baguette instead of a French baguette. We also visited again and gave specific instructions, as I was with someone who has autism, for food which was ignored. Still nice though.

Excellent food and lots of it quick, clean and friendly. A great place that I cannot recommend enough
