I like Calamari Salad, the squid is delicious
Went in for lunch. Child & Husband ordered Fish n Chips x2 orders. Fish was stale, chips salty. Teen daughter ordered Open Sandwich - now has the runs. I ordered Cesar Breakfast including eggs sunny-side up. Mushrooms were old & wrinkly, eggs were old & not at all runny, hash browns over cooked they were hard to bite, not sure where the bacon came from but certainly not for breakfast. Over all, dismal experience
I work close to this cafe and used to be a frequent visitor until I was served a cake slice with mould on the underneath. Horrified I swore I would never return however recently decided to give them another go. I order fish chips, salad and a flat white. I asked for my chips in a to go container as I did not plan to eat them there. Took over 30 mins for food to arrive and it all came in a to go container. Fish was way overcooked. Dismally disappointed. Service and food were awful and with pikes of dishes on tables that gsdbt been cleared there was a general lack of care. Spending 23 dollars on a meal you expect decent food and service I got neither. Will definately not be supporting this business again.
Coffee is good and staff kind. But the wave price-quality... So expensive! You pay a lot for low-quality food. Vegie breakfast at 15.9$, so overrated. Free costumer wifi
Cafe Cesar in Manukau-Center is place to be: for a Family time, business time, and leisure time, with a wonderful coffee and delicious feed. Recommended, great Service looking after you#1.
Feel like the food is quite stale and the iced tea that I had was super sickly sweet, I usually love sweet tea but this syrup was horrid. I personally had an unpleasant experience here.
Casual, Customer service average, and no structure, and low professionalism from servers, I dont like too much slang in my food service and With has 'th' in it, not an 'f'. Food is above average which is good.
2Nov16 Under new management by a young owner since early this year. He has invested a lot in furniture, interior decoration, menu signage behind the counter and new dishes. Has added to parking out front which - see photo - which is very convenient for regular customers. A lot of competition from the cafes at Friendship House, the AUT building above the railway station 100 meters away and new Cage Melba on Ronwood Avenue. 11Jan2012: I've had to eat my words - I didn't think Cesar Catering Cafe would last a year. But it is still here and doing well. I was one of the first customers, here, at Cesar's cafe when it opened in 2003. First class coffee, Karajoz coffee, roasted in Newton Gully in Auckland, and good, fast, service are the two critical elements of a successful cafe. These elements haven't changed. Cesars is one of those office-clientele cafes that open at 7:30AM and wind down by 3:30PM. It serves the people in the surrounding office buildings in the Manukau CBD; and the Manukau Courts as well as the Police across the road. The pre-prepared salads, open sandwiches, pasta, cakes and sweet drinks and sodas are good. Not only that, the short order cook does wicked breakfasts, eggs benedict and omelettes. The place is kept clean by friendly, hard working, staff and they quickly get to know your favourite coffee mix and food. Try Cesar. I love it. See for yourself.
A nice enough place. Food took a while to be served but it was fresh and hot. Mince on toast was a little greasy for me but still tasty.
A very nice lunch at reasonable prices. Plenty of choice of dishes. Not upmarket, but friendly and relaxed.
