The Coffee Club

Coffee clubs are generally a good place to stop in. Manukau Mall. Staff were friendly and service was pretty quick for a Sunday morning. Last time we called in . We were told 20 minutes after an hour we left... We thought we would give it another try.. as said earlier. Friendly staff. And pretty quick service. But unfortunately The food was below par. My partner ordered Crumbed Fish and chips. The plate was presented ok. But the quality of the fish was second rate. Well over cooked on one piece and the other smelt old. With prices where they are today. Some decent food should be being served and cooked properly. We won't come back to this Coffee Club.

My family and I have been visiting Coffee Club at Manukau for many years now. We often have lunch at the St Luke's branch, only because their food is amazing. Although the Manukau branch as great staff, good customer service and coffee, their food could be better. There is such a difference in the way their menu is prepared and served from one branch to another. I personally think this should be looked at as at the end of the day you are representing Coffee Club and there should be a certain level of consistency. I ordered the Southern fried chicken ciabatta, the portion of chicken was so small, lots of coating, we were eating mostly bread. It was also quite dry, not enough sauce.The Calamari dish had such small portions of calamari and the salad, well let's just say there was so little that you might as well remove it from the plate. No tomatoes either. The seafood platter was good and shrimp popcorn tacos a must try, nicely prepared. When you are visiting different locations of the same franchise, customers not only expect good service but consistency in providing excellent food.

Absolutely appalling Came here this morning ordered a chicken and bacon club sandwich only to be told that there was no bread and was asked if I could order something else off the menu. I have been in the hospo industry so to not be difficult order the Mac n cheese with bacon and fries had to pay extra to do so. Only to get Mac n cheese no bacon the chef fried bacon and had it on the side. I had the waitress to out in the Mac n cheese. The chef just literally chopped the bacon and chucked it on top. I was that furious with the lack of effort on the chef behalf and of the server who took my order. To me these actions scream lack of initiative above everything else. The team look like deer's in the headlights LOST!!! 3 OF THEM STANDING AT THE COUNTER TAKING 1 ORDER IT'S RIDICULOUS Teach your staff the value of customer service. I left my food in eaten so that they know that is not Mac n cheese that's just called being lazy and can't be bothered.

Amazing food Amazing Coffee staffy really good even though it was really busy they said half an hour weight but only took 20 minutes where's the weight yum yum yum yum yum

I landed in Aotearoa this morning. My granddaughters and I went to breakfast at the Manukau Coffee Club. We enjoyed our meals very much and the service was great.Food: 5/5

Horrible for that price. Ordered a big breakfast sunny side up. EVERYTHING was cold on the plate except the deep fried parts hash brown and onion rings. The cheese kransky were so cold the cheese was solid inside. Shoulder bacon was cold and both pieces stuck together. The mushroom weren’t heated up at all. The eggs were under cooked the egg white was not cooked through the wait staff tried to convince me that I was wrong even saying the eggs are supposed to be like that and that the food couldn’t have been cold. I will NEVER return. Hated it.

One of my regular coffee shops as they make good mocha and the staff are friendly. During peak hours there is a very long wait but I normally grab some takeaway food from next door and it's ready to go by then. Love the different colored/designed coffee cups depending on season and luck.Food: 4/5

Overall good place, I suggest improving on service. We ordered coffee with spinach pie and chips. It took quite a long time to serve pie and the chips, we had finished our coffee and waited nearly 10mins to get the food on the table.

Service is super slow given how many staff there are at any given time. Other Coffee Club stores could do a takeaway coffee 4x over in the time taken by this one never been less than 15min, at worst 30min. There have been 3 instances the order has been forgotten/misplaced altogether. These examples are over the last 4 - 6 months. Kept going back hoping it had improved. Systems need a serious review.
