Great place for authentic Punjabi food if you are not after fine dining atmosphere and a plastic spoon is good enough. The Special Thali 4 different curries of your choice, rice, naan bread for 15 bucks is awesome value and the couple running the place are as friendly as it gets. Both thumbs up!Food: 5/5

Small casual street food style take out place with fantastic prices. Much cheaper than other places, but you notice the difference in decor, upkeep etc. Some items are heated in a microwave. It's generally tasty, but you get what you pay for.

I went to this restaurant for the $14.99 deal. Great price for rice+4 curries AND naan, food tasted awesome! The guy in charge was also really friendly and accommodating.

Very nice Indian Food. It's like especially Home-Made food. I go regularly here to eat, this is my go-to place if I want to have Indian Food in Wellington. Undoubtedly one of the best in the Town. Vegetarian options: I am a pure vegetarian and I get very good and fresh food all the time I visit. Undoubtedly one of the best, must try Daal and Palak Paneer/Saag Aloo.

Indian food is available at a cheaper price compared to others however only few things tick in taste. Still, due to the price, it's a good option. Takeaway is preferable though instead of dine-in.Food: 4/5

The best Punjabi food in Wellington; I have been here for a long time and I always get the same delicious taste of Punjab. I am a vegetarian, thus, I must say you try Daal, Aloo Palak/Saag, Saag Paneer. These are my favorite here. Every dish is excellent and amazing thing is it is affordable and plenty of food. You get great service, fresh food and especially home- taste. Must try!!!! Vegetarian options: I always struggled to find good vegetarian food until I found this place. Essentially the great place for vegetarians!!!! Daal, Saag Paneer/Aloo, wraps everything has their unique and delicious taste. Thus, became my regular place for lunch and dinner!!!

I had potato bhaji in the afternoon as I craving for pakoras Indian Fried Snacks. I asked for take away, reached home and microwave it. Just had my bite and found it was not freshly prepared. It was 1-2 day old prepared, so hard to chew. Even not properly fried. Not good at all.

Economical place compared to other restaurants considering the fact that this is a fast food joint. Don't miss out on their curry collections. They taste a little sour, may be because of fresh lemon juice. But great taste, great quality, always served hot! If you are in Te Aro around Cuba or Manners Street, you should definitely check it out! The pics I have included are of Saag Paneer and Daal Tadka. Haven't tried their naan yet. I keep my budget at $8 for brunch!
