Pocket Bar & Kitchen

This was a fabulous find. Fantastic food, fantastic service, and fantastic drinks. Especially the cocktails. Even the music from the party in the room next door was great.

The Pocket is is an awesome bar / cafe /eatery 'close to the city' in Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn. Perfect for a casual meet-up or meal. There's a range of seating, inside intimate or for groups as well as external covered. The day I went there I noticed a number of reserved tables for businesses for after work drinks and nibbles. Obviously well suited for this.nFood options include a number of share platters and drinks include beers, wines, mixes and their own in house sparkling water. Happy to recommend.

Had a lovely work dinner here tonight. Such a cute spot! Server was lovely and accomodating, food was well priced and yummy. Delicious mocktails! Would definitely recommend :

I reserved part of the bar for my birthday and it was a wonderful time! The staff were kind and accommodating. It was easy to organise and the food was well priced and good quality. A special notd for the staff on the bar, they were all wonderful and made everything run very well, great chat and great drinks. All attendees loved the spot!

Amazing dining place for lunch. Lovely service and staff.. me and my friend wanted something warm to drink on this cold day and asked something out of the menu “lemon ginger honey tea” and the owner was so sweet that he was ready to go an extra mile to get the honey across the road! But we instead asked him for a tea and he served us some lovely masala tea! It’s really hard to find a place that has it all.. this one was one of those places.nMUST TRY - Shitake mushroom dumplings
