Longroom & Longshot

An amazing spot in Ponsonby. The staff were all very warm and welcoming, and it was first restaurant here in New Zealand that the staff actually took some time to chat and make sure we were comfortable. My wife an I really enjoyed this spot as we didn’t feel rushed, it was really cool and slow.nnOf the food we ordered, the portion sizes were gigantic and very flavorful! I loved the Chicken Schnitzel and my wife loved the Mexican bowl with Chicken she ordered. We got ourselves fries and a portion of two mini prawn burgers as appetizers which were really tasty.nnI highly recommend this spot! They’ve got an amazing lunch menu and a good brunch menu which I’ll most probably try next.!

It's a great little spot for catching up with friends.nI know it from going with my networking group, we get an allocated place for our meetings, place is usually really quiet for a chat.nService was really good from most staff, very welcoming and receiving, just one guy/barista was not very warm in his ways, not rude, just not very welcoming.nGreat thing about this place is that you can bring your pet !! Love places that allow this!

Was in town solo for a concert and had time to fill before and after my flights. Found this place by chance and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Food was excellent and they have a solid selection of wine and spirits.nWhat really stood out was the staff. Every single person working there was friendly and genuinely attentive. I sat in a booth for way longer than I probably should have and never once felt rushed or pressured to leave. Just felt like a welcome guest the whole time.nThe crowd was a nice mix of people and the whole vibe was calm and relaxed. Can't remember the last time I felt that comfortable somewhere on my own. If you're in the area definitely check it out. Left completely happy.

I organized with management a community event for approximately 40 people. All areas of the event were catered for in such a manner I could not say anything negative. A huge thank you to Sain & Pauline for the way they communicated with my guests. They were respectful and made sure everyone was happy. The feedback from my guests to me was that they were impressed by the food presented to them and how delicious the food was. What was noticeable was the way these two staff members conducted themselves while moving around the guests with platters of food all done with a smile. Well Done, The Longroom!

Pleasantly surprised by how great this place was for dining after only having been there for late night drinks....nDelicious lamb & salmon bowls, juicy smashburger and tasty Korean Fried Chicken. Attentive service with the staff topping up wine/waters as needed and the complimentary water still & sparkling is a nice touch. Nice outdoor patio which has a fire which is great for cooler evenings.
