Bar Martin

Bar Martin has been my find of 2024. If I was to open a wine bar - I would want it to be exactly like Bar Martin. The wine list is superb, the service so friendly and helpful, the food is out of this world and somehow despite the the cost of living crunch - they manage it all without you shuddering while you pay the bill! Although that might also be because I always end up having one or two more wines than I had planned. I’m moving to Wellington and I’m desperately hoping Bar Martin will open an offshoot. If you’re reading this - please think about it!

Such a great local. Consistently awesome service, good banter. Food options are delicious, great dishes to share - and drinks selection is top notch. Nice indoor and outdoor settings. Highly recommend.

A wonderful gem in the bowels of Mt Albertb suberbia.nSuperb wine list, waitstaff are just like that friend you forgot about and the food is absoultely smack on for the environment and what you may like to drink.

I am so glad this is my local. Such a friendly welcoming environment to enjoy a divine drop and some scrumptious food. The bar staff were amazingly sociable and attentive.
