Morningside Tavern

Have been here once before for my friend's work Christmas party but most recently attended my friend's birthday dinner. Ordered the fish and chips and a CC & Dry. Orders can be placed via the ordering app QR code on your table or at the bar. I used the app which was quite convenient and receipt can be e-mailed if you so desire. My meal came out pretty quick. I did like my meal but wish there was a panko crumb option as I prefer that over battered fish. The tartare sauce was the best part. Tried a slice of my friend's pizza and it was underwhelming. DJ was a bit loud for dinner time but at least most of music he was playing was pretty good. Quite easy to get here either via train station is pretty much across the road or by bus bus stop is in front of the Morningside shops. Wait staff were nice but one of my pet peeves is when wait staff constantly ask to clear my plate when I'm not ready for it to be cleared. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

We had a Father's Day celebration at the Morningside tavern which was a great experience. The roast was first class, well beyond my expectations and decent value at $30. The two Father's each got a small gift which was a very nice touch. Service was excellent, especially from the manager on duty. I'd thoroughly recommend, definitely give the Sunday roast a go!

Mu family and I had an amazing experience at the Morningside Tavern. It was Mother’s Day and it was busy but the service was great and food was delicious! All moms were surprised with a beautiful flower arrangement. It was a really nice touch!

Stopped off for a quick bite and loved the use of technology when ordering at your table. Food came out quickly and was delicious … arancini balls, fries and crispy pork belly. Service was excellent. Will definitely return. Parking is verrrry limited

I recently booked the Morningside Tavern for a special corporate function and it was just amazing. The venue is impressive and speaks for itself, the food options are extensive and very tasty, and the team truly make it thanks so much to Claire, Dave and team!. Everything was taken care of with no fuss or stress and I would highly recommend this venue for a range of functions. Thanks again guys - you are awesome!
