Disappointing. Limited stock and staff members are not very interested in actually assisting properly. Any assistance given is superficial and incorrect info relayed. Waste of time and energy.

Huge place. Just had limited stock compared to other similar places.

Lack of stock. Had to go across the road to Bunnings

I asked a shop assistant, Amie, for help locating items. She was very helpful and quite charming. Although there was a common garden item that wasn't available, she looked it up and showed me where I could find one. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because their range of products is not as good as it could be, maybe due to lack of space or emphasis on building products. I like that Placemakers is a NZ company!!!

Worst customer service ever. My husband had to wait 15 minutes while a staff member finished talking then the staff couldn't speak to him. Just offered hand gestures then no help loading vehicle when item wouldn't fit in the car my husband asked if they could cut it in half and, again no talking he was handed a hand saw to cut himself ...wont be going there again! Definitely need some lessons in customer service
