Super average experience with reception over the phone just now. We have just moved back to NZ from overseas. Called to enroll and book an appointment for sick 10 month old. Was abruptly told they do not see patients that are not enrolled. I said yes, we would like to enroll and she said that can take at least 10 working days and I was better off going elsewhere. Could not have been any less helpful.

If I could rate this place a negative star I would! If you call to book an appt they’ll ask you whether it’s urgent or non urgent. Doesn’t matter anyway because there’s a 98% chance they’ll say they’re fully booked and the next available date is in the next 3 months. “Go city doc” is what I’ve heard them say a numerous times I’ve called to book. I’ve sat more at the hospital queue & city doc than the damn doctors we’re registered with! And if you’re lucky to get squeezed in, you’ll only get 5 mins with the doc till they send you off. 5mins yet they’re busy 8 hours a day for the next couple of weeks?? The front desk lady’s who answer your calls almost make it impossible for you to be seen and they do it without empathy. Like your job includes helping people save lives?! Doesn’t match your tone sis! This practise is clearly the busiest practise on earth with all the patients in the world that you may aswell go city doc or die because realistically you’ll get seen in 2 years.. Try to understand that when patients call, NOBODY wants to wait months to be seen! Stop asking if it’s urgent or non urgent because they’re the same outcome every damn time. DO BETTER!!!!

My experience with Kauri HealthCare has always been really positive. The phone staff are lovely and helpful, the reception staff are professional and pleasant, and the nurses and doctors are excellent. Always find all the clinical staff genuinely do their best for their patient's care, even though they are busy.nI think all the GP practices are full at the moment in PN - staff shortages are real. I can't find any fault with any of the care I have had at Kauri. I think they're great.

Wonderful service. The reception team are always so friendly and helpful.nnI have young children and often need things to be quickly attended to, but not at a level to go to hospital. They are quick to respond, often get same day appointments or phone consults/scripts.nnThe immunisation nurses appear highly experience and professional, they are also very kind and playful with my children. They are also very kind and helpful to me as a mother. They are also quick to refer in if required. They have also developed relationships with our family, and we will likely attend this centre forever because of this.nnThe doctors have been extremely thorough, and have allowed up appropriately. They have listened to my concerns and reports well.nnIncredible practice, its a shame it has a low rating because I have only experienced the best.

Absolutely appalled by Kauris customer service. The receptionist today was so rude on pick up. Not even a hello so and so speaking just a speaking in a rude manner. Her whole tone was rude. This is the 3rd time now I have experienced this with their reception. On top of this and other incidents with the doctor kauri is THE LAST PLACE I'd ever recommend anyone I care about go to. Utterly disgraceful for a public medical health service.
