Kauri Healthcare

I've had nothing but positive experiences in the last 3 years I've been registered with Kauri Healthcare. The staff are lovely, proffesional and thorough. I feel as though the negative reviews should be redirected to the systemic issue our Healthcare in the entirety of Aotearoa is facing - rather then the front line staff who are doing their best of a strained situation. Thankyou for everything you do staff at Kauri Healthcare!

Booking an appointment often leads to an automated response which is not helpful at all. The app used to communicate is poorly designed and doesn't make anything easier. The actual medical care and staff don't seem interested in actually helping anyone or making things easier to people in pain. Just like any other medical center, they seem more interested in pushing medication instead of testing and researching causes.

Beyond unprofessional. I had called them on Thursday and it went to the answer machine which allows you to place an order for your prescription. I left my details and was informed it would take two working days to be sent to the pharmacy. 2 days later… nothing. I called again the following Tuesday morning just to be told they hadn’t received anything and my prescription hasn’t been sent out; they let me know they’d be on it promptly. I hadn’t received any text from my pharmacy so I call Kauri again later in the afternoon- just to be told, AGAIN, that they hadn’t sent it off. This place is so poorly managed and clearly understaffed. They cannot manage the clientele they currently have and should be ashamed of themselves for allowing people to go without medication they need.

The doctor Andy Greenway has helped me through an immense amount of paperwork for an attempt to join the army, and all of it with a smile despite it being near the end of his work day, even cracking a laugh or two.nHe has been in this practice for decades and extremely professional- truly grateful to have him as my doctor.

Super average experience with reception over the phone just now. We have just moved back to NZ from overseas. Called to enroll and book an appointment for sick 10 month old. Was abruptly told they do not see patients that are not enrolled. I said yes, we would like to enroll and she said that can take at least 10 working days and I was better off going elsewhere. Could not have been any less helpful.
