Rather unprepared, I believe in a fast food environment there should be allocated areas and it seemed like employees were far more focused on delivery orders and Uber eats orders than the actual customers in person. I understand it is public holiday but I believe in store customers should take priority because they are the ones having to sit and wait for up to an hour. I ordered one pizza and two drinks and have had to wait almost an hour. I think if I were the manager here it would function in a far more efficient and timely manner where customers get served in a decent amount of time therefore allowing them to actually enjoy their food rather than dwelling on the time waste waiting for it.

Pizza Hut Mt Maunganui is by far the best Pizza Hut in New Zealand the new Owners and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming the atmosphere is amazing and keeps me coming back, and don’t get me started on the pizza it always five star. Kid-friendliness: Me and my Brother go the all of the time and the staff are always so kind.
So on my work break I decided I wanted pizza. I ordered an hour before the pick up time because I knew there would be a bit of a wait, when I got there I paid and he said there would be a wait, what I didn't expect was it to take my my whole half an hour break to get my food. And it was just sitting in the warmer THE WHOLE TIME. This is also the second time this has happened at this location. Not happy at all.
Worst. Service. Ever! Pizza took 1hr40mins. Staff was rude and had no idea about customer service. Normally chill about lazy staff but this was taking the piss. Don’t recommend. Never going back *looking for the ‘no star’ option
