A group of us had a variety of dishes including big breakfast, small breakfast, eggs Benedict with Salmon, Spanish paella and open pork belly sandwich. They were all very well presented, tasted fabulous and matched with brilliant, personalized service. Will definitely be back and should be on your "must dine here" list. Nice relaxing place for lunch. Very friendly staff. Some of the best calamari I have ever had in New Zealand. Very nice fish burger. I'm glad that we accidentally came across this place. Definitely recommend!!

Great food and service staff. Their calamari was on of the best I have ever tasted. Fish and Chips, my benchmark dish, was not bad either. Overall, worth the visit.

Booked a group reservation for breakfast online last July and got a quick response from VJ. The table was set up very well with activities for the kids to be busy with while waiting for our food. I ordered Eggs benedict and Oh boy I think it’s one of the yummiest eggs bene I had. Thanks for the yummy food and great service. We’ll definitely come back and try other foods in the menu.

Probably more of a 3.5 star than a 3. The food we had was okay, it certainly wasn’t traditional Italian cooking but didn’t claim to be either. The meatball themselves were tasty but the sauce was a bit unusual. The overall setup was quite odd and we had to ask where we could sit, and then ask again for menus, and then again to order. At no time did any member of staff ask us if we wanted anything. Not sure if that was by design or not as there was no indication what customers were expected to do.

Came in about 1pm on a Sunday. It was pretty busy, but we were still served promptly. Staff were really friendly. Food was good, smoothie helped with my hangover haha . Would definitely recommend, and will probably be back :Food: 5/5

The smoothie was good and the food was average. But a little bit disappointed about the service. It’s understandable that it would take longer time to wait during the busy hours, but we have noticed that they came to take the order for other tables but us. No one come to give us water or take the order, no one ask how was everything as they did to other customers. We had to order at the counter, take the water by ourselves. Feel being treated differently and have waited roughly 40mins for our brunch.

Really friendly hostess. We arrived before their opening time but she served us with a smile anyway. Lovely outdoor setting and great coffee. A great place to hydrate before the Tarns walk.Food: 5/5

Food was absolutely delicious. Paired well with the Shining Peak Bog Works Pilsner. Had the fish and chips and the risotto. Fish was light and crispy batter, the risotto was lovely and creamy. Staff extremely friendly

Our group tried three incredible dishes at Pikopiko Eatery. Very balanced palatable trio consisted of one vegetarian Pumpkin Risotto, one chicken Southern Fried Chicken and one meat dish Meatball Pasta. It was hard to choose the favourite but my heart sang when I tried Meatball Pasta. Its simple look was deceiving because the complexity of ingredients was remarkable. Cherry tomatoes were glazed so carefully that they added slightly smoked taste to the sweetness of the sauce. Slight acidity of balsamic garlic added another dimension to the sauce, so the dish felt light and easy to digest. Great option for both lunch and dinner!
