The Federal Store

Had a fantastic breakfast experience at The Federal Store this morning. The food was excellent, the coffee was spot on, and the service was impeccable. Couldn’t fault a single thing the staff were attentive and friendly, making the whole experience a very enjoyable break from our soggy camp site. If you’re in New Plymouth and looking for a great breakfast spot, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

Hard to beat this place. One of the best in New Plymouth. Quirky and fun atmosphere. Brilliant tea! And the menu and counter selections would suit even the fussiest of diners. 3rd of 4th visit here over the years and never disappointed. One of the best Egg Benedicts I have tasted. Smooth and mellow coffee..

An amazing brunch spot with an incredible selection of sandwiches and pastries, everything looked absolutely delicious. I even told the staff how good the food looked, and they replied, “It tastes even better!” lol.nNext time I’m back in New Plymouth, I’ll definitely bring my friends here

We'd been traveling for a week and I'd lost hope in having a good coffee on our holiday... until we went to The Federal Store for my husband's birthday breakfast. The coffee was perfection, so good we got one to go as well. Breakfast was so tasty, I got the Halloumi and Pea Fritters with a side of bacon, yum! My husband got mince on toast with sides of Halloumi and bacon hey, it was his birthday... Alllll the sides!.nnI can't fault the place, it was fantastic, such a cool place and obviously a local's favourite.nnThank you!!

Cosy place. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. However the food was mid at best. Buffalo chicken burger did not taste like buffalo sauce and the battered chicken were not crunchy/crispy. Seems like it was fried earlier before serving.
