The food was delicious!! So flavorful and tender meat! Everything was made with so much attention, you will not regret going there! Ive been there twice and the food was just as amazing as the last time I went. You leave full and your tastebuds more than satisfied. Will go again!
We stopped by Pier 64 Restaurant & Bar in Timaru for dinner while travelling from Queenstown to Christchurch, and overall it was a nice experience.nnThe food was great and definitely worth the stop—everything we ordered was tasty and well prepared. It’s a lovely spot to relax during a long drive.nnHowever, the wait time was quite disappointing. We had to wait almost 2 hours for our food, even though the restaurant didn’t seem very busy. We were seated outside, so it felt like we might have been overlooked. Unfortunately, no apology was offered, which made the experience a bit frustrating.nnThat said, the quality of the meal itself was good, but the service could definitely be improved.
Had a great special meal here Thai green curry took a while for food to turn up but definitely worth the wait.nSunning views from the terrace.nGreat place to try.
They're not kidding when they say fresh seafood chowder, it was fantastic. The crispy calamari was delightful compared to most spots. Coffee was mint, they make a great Breve. Kids loved the chips too and the staff were incredibly genuine and friendly.
Popped in for a coffee and cake. Gluten free was available.nMy granddaughter ordered off the kids menu and really enjoyed her mac n cheese and banana split. The young waiter was very friendly and food came out quickly.
