The shrimp cocktail in the seafood platter was totally tasteless and had a really strong freezer flavor. Most of the taste came from the sauce. The portion sizes were pretty generous though. Dessert was delicious!

What a find! We were only in Timaru for the one night and Benny’s Again came highly recommended - it did not disappoint! The minute you walk through the door you’re welcomed by Kaye the owner who was absolutely fantastic and her staff are equally as friendly. Her bubbly welcome was followed by hearty, generous and delicious meals. My husband had the Seafood platter and I had the lamb shank. Both meals were cooked to perfection and with very generous portions. A special mention to try the homemade salad dressingWe made room for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed the Banoffee pie! We couldn’t fault a thing and we will definitely be back next time we’re in town. It’s a 10/10 from us
After traveling all arvo, google suggested this stop.nAbsolutely amazing food!! Such tasty comfort goodness. Having homemade dressing on table, joined by homemade mayo, just like Nana made and tomato sauce, started everything off wonderfully.nOur beautiful servers made our experience so much better!!n100% this will be our constant lunch/dinner place in timaru!
