The shrimp cocktail in the seafood platter was totally tasteless and had a really strong freezer flavor. Most of the taste came from the sauce. The portion sizes were pretty generous though. Dessert was delicious!
What a find! We were only in Timaru for the one night and Benny’s Again came highly recommended - it did not disappoint! The minute you walk through the door you’re welcomed by Kaye the owner who was absolutely fantastic and her staff are equally as friendly. Her bubbly welcome was followed by hearty, generous and delicious meals. My husband had the Seafood platter and I had the lamb shank. Both meals were cooked to perfection and with very generous portions. A special mention to try the homemade salad dressingWe made room for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed the Banoffee pie! We couldn’t fault a thing and we will definitely be back next time we’re in town. It’s a 10/10 from us
Husband’s 70th Birthday so booked for 21 in advance. Well apportioned tables, food is supreme, staff excellent and we felt very much at home with a “home-cooked” meal. Thank you, again - Benny’s Again!
We had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL meal at Benny's Again last Saturday. John had a steak and I had blue cod. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was fantastic, lovely friendly girls and the atmosphere was wonderful. We go to Benny's Again every time we come up for a day from Oamaru. Definitely a 10/10.
We had a meal out on 16/01 and it was amazing food and outstanding service. Very accommodating. Large meals. Great value for money. We couldn't fault our experience. Thanks again. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
