Peach’s Hot Chicken

I've seen this place for years now, and despite reading a lot of positive reviews, I hadn't gotten around to trying it. Well, recently I did and I was not disappointed. First off, I really like the ambiance and interior of the restaurant. It's way nicer here than any of the other local restaurants. The staff is friendly and there are several good choices on the menu. Though a word of caution. I had the medium and it was almost too much for me. It was really good, but really spicy next time I'll have something a bit less. If you like chicken this is definitely a place you need to try!

We love the fried chicken here, one of thee best. Hot & spicy, greasy burgers with a big serving of shoestrings, love these too. Favourite is The Baller, yummy coleslaw mellows out the intense spice levels I went with mild plus, chicken is juicy! Cute decor, clean and the staff are helpful.

This place is amazing. The chicken and waffles is almost perfect to balance the hotness. Different spice levels to choose from. I've tried the mild, medium, hot. Someday, hopefully can actually eat the "holy cluck". You might have to wait around 25 to 30 minutes on the weekends, but the food is well worth the wait. Recommend trying the Peach's hot chicken experience.

Any time this place is open its always packed, which is a reflection of the great food and service they provide. The chicken is just so crispy and juicy that it just melted in your mouth. The Mac n cheese was also pretty good. One of the best fried chicken spots in Auckland in my opinion. Highly recommended!!

Yep this is the best fried chicken sandos joint in Auckland. The combination of the brioche bun and the thigh fillet is just perfect. As for spice level medium is far as you want to go. Medium or above, you’ll lose the flavour. I personally think mild medium is just right. There are outdoor seatings for dogs as well.

Very good hot chicken, good service and nice staff. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy and loud but not too loud. A nice atmosphere and the place looks like somewhere you’d want to eat spicy chicken. I got the HOT seasoning and it wasn’t as spicy as I expected but it’s not the hottest flavor. They had a kids menu and my son had waffles that he really liked. Overall a great experience and would definitely return to try the hotter flavors.

Disclaimer: as an American Southerner from Charlotte, the bar for Southern food abroad is pretty high for me already. The biscuit and gravy were great, and hit the spot! The chicken was a bit lack-luster, definitely thinner than what we’d expect to be served back home. The pimento mac & cheese was also mostly cheese, and only flakes of pimentos essentially, definitely not something that would pass back home but it did give a nostalgic feeling for BBQ and potluck events gone by. The peanut butter mouse pie was amazing, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the banana pudding. All-in-all, I wouldn’t make a special trip more than quarterly for it, however it’s still worth getting and if you want to experience Southern-style biscuits and gravy, I’m still going to say you should try it out. When I’m in the area I’ll definitely also pop by, because it is one of the closest tastes to home this side of the Pacific.

Fried chicken was amazing, good balance of seasoning tried medium and hot and it’s really strong enough for me I recommend their chicken waffle in mild for someone that wants to enjoy the flavours without getting too firey by the spice! Fried pickles is a very nice addition to the meal too

A bit busy during lunch time but that's only proof of how good they are! Pays to book in.. beautiful, friendly service and even better food! Ordered the baller burger with fries and Mac n cheese.Combo was fresh, flavourful and pretty quick service. Will be back, thank you!

Food was yummy. My favorite was fries. But everything was super greasy as I expected, which unfortunately made me feel a bit sick afterwards. Not something I’d eat regularly. Nevertheless worth a try. Also I went at a busy time and it was super noisy inside but it was clean and staff was super friendly.
