No thrill's but the prices are are decent. The store is large and clean, my favorite section is the delicatessen great variety of food. Self check out you don't have to wait long, that's handy. And you'll always find a car park

Good range of meat products and usually stocked up with a wide variety of pantry items. Nice selection of hot meals. Great parking facility and a clean store. Staff have always been so friendly fantastic customer service

Pretty good for shoppers that are trying to save few bucks nowadays. Also, the gas station has competitive prices in the area. The only downside: they don't sell the "dinner for four" packages you can find at other Pak and Save :

Go there regularly to pick up weekly groceries. Heard it's one of the cheapest grocery or PaknSave outlets near the city, but I personally haven't looked at it like that. They also offer a variety of ready to eat meals from their Deli.

Thank God no piped Xmas music, which usually makes me want to vomit. Great!!!! *PaknSave is so much cheaper than Countdown these days you save a small fortune just doing the basic weekly shopping there - Countdown has increased its prices horrendously lately and deleted a lot of its cheap lines, but P&S still looks after the low income people.

I've just moved up from Christchurch and this paknsave was the most run down I've ever seen. The veg section looked like a market, everything in crates and not presented. The bargain aisle was the same things dragged out at pace and no care given. The freezer section had lots of lids missing. Very few items were on sale. To be honest there were more signs that give limits on stock than sales. Overall limited choice, very run down and surprised that it was busy

Excellent one stop shop for all things necessity! The price point is competitive and great discounts that suit your wallet. Highly recommended for bulk purchases.

Abdul, this guy is useless. He saw me at the info desk but still went back to his check out when it wasn't busy. I went to his lane to ask a question which he couldn't so he put me aside after calling for help. Waited close to 15 mins then another call out then a girl came, at this point there were few customers in line, but instead of helping us, he sent her to help the customers in line while we are waiting in front of them. Left all our items in the cart and walked away. Great customer service.

Quality of Veg and fruits seems to be dropping and pricing going high. Not sure why they took away the fridges for fruits as they don't look fresh anymore. Bought strawberry's for $4.00 and came home put straight in the fridge. Ate it next day and more than half were bad which had to be through away. Not buying fresh produce here anymore. much rather pay extra to buy at local veg which is much fresher it seems.
