Nice staff, good vibes in restaurant. The cheesy garlic naan breed is absolutely delicious. Butter chicken was definitely worth it at just 20$ for chicken and rice. Reasonable 15min wait for takeaway option.

I stumbled upon this place locally and decided to give it a try after hearing some rave reviews. It certainly lived up to the hype. The claims about having the best butter chicken in town were not exaggerated. Despite living in Tauranga for over a decade, I regret not discovering Great Spice earlier. I will definitely be returning. Their garlic naan and butter chicken are unparalleled. And if you're not a fan of spicy food, their mild option is just perfect – it's wonderfully sweet and aromatic.

Amazing service and really good food. We ordered Tandoori Platter, Goat curry, Lamb curry and Chicken Vindaloo - all hot and Singha beers. Goat and lamb curry was mind blowing the spice levels were perfect. Tandoori platter could've been better. Garlic Naans were light and had good crust. The portion sizes were nice! I'd be returning for sure to try out other dishes. Try the Singha beer from Thailand - goes well with the food.
