Oruaiti Reserve

Nice short hiking track leading to Point Dorset. Beautiful views and some old bunkers along the coast.nYou can enter the bunkers, but they're full of graffiti and trash, so I would not recommend it.nThe views of the coast are worth the hike!

Such a beautiful place with a small playground and public toilets and pretty beach. Great for kite surfing when the winds to the north. Some parts around the public toilets are wheelchair and strollers accessible

A nice coastal track that also leads to Point Dorset. Good coastal views and suitable to all levels of fitness

An amazing place with great views out into the Cook Strait, Pencarrow head, Baring Head and through the Wellington Heads, great views all around and picturesque location.

A very nice secluded spot in the East cost bays in Wellington.nEasily approachable via public transport and road too.nThe views from the point are awesome and exceptional on a clear sunny day.nPoint Dorset and Fort Dorset are a part of this reserve.nThe walks to the point and down to Breakers Bay are enjoyable and require a normal fitness level.nThe large ships sailing through the Wellington harbour can be seen from here and present a great sight.nWell recommended for half a day trip and picnic.
