Wanted to surprise my kids to stay in nice hotel as they never stayed in one before. Great price for 4 of us and included buffer breakfast. Nice view of the river. Lovely bathroom, clean room, lovely service. Just one advice if 4 people booked in one room, maybe have 4 cups for hot drinks and 4x towels. Other then that perfect. Walkability: Perfect location. Walking distance to restaurants and shops
The hotel has a good lakeside location and well located for the Alma street restaurants. Rooms clean and staff friendly. At breakfast they didn't have tables for three people. Two and four settings only so we shared with singles on two occasions. Not a problem. Our son loved the pancake maker. We'd probably go back again.Rooms: 4/5
Well equipped room, spotlessly clean and friendly and efficient staff. The one major disappointment was the Christmas dinner. We ate there last year and it was excellent however this year it left a great deal to be desired. The prawn entree was overpowered by chilli. The turkey main comprised 2 thick tasteless slices with hardly any vegetables. The dessert was fine however for $88 per person to be honest it was very poor value for money and we won't be going back next Christmas
Enjoyed our stay loverly room great beds.food in the restaurant is of a high standard especially breakfast. We had a fabulous young man as our waiter at dinner. All the staff are friendly and helpful only problem we had was parking as was hard to find during the week in HamiltonRooms: 4/5
Great central location. Easy valet parking you do have to pay an extra $32, though Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Bed was very comfy. Room service meals were goodRooms: 5/5
The location is handy. Some staff were lovely to deal with. Unfortunately my room was the dirtiest I have ever been in. Smudges on the mirror, numerous hairs in the bathroom. Stains on the bathroom floor and the cups hadn't been washed, just turned upside down in the drawer. It was quite disgusting. During a pandemic I expect a much higher degree of cleanliness. Not good enough!
This is my first visit to this hotel, but I loved it! I stay in a lot of hotels, but have never had service like this one! Everyone I encountered went out of their way to make my stay easy and pleasant. Particularly, the front desk, but especially the restaurant staff!Rooms: 3/5
I attended a birthday party in one of their function rooms. It was a small party of less than 50 people. The room was well lit and the food they served was all delicious. It's a nice function room for the purpose.Rooms: 5/5
Hotel was very nice ,down fall is the food. We were in our room, placed order for dinner. Butter chicken was not cooked well. Rice was so cold and hard.overall food is pathetic. Waste of money. Having 4 months old baby and dinner arrived was so so poor quality. Even the hotel food menu is not good. Better eat outside , heaps of restaurants out there
We stayed here for fieldays. They didn't put towels in my room so I had to dry myself with a hand towel I realized after my shower they took 1.5hrs to bring my towel then the next night they did the same, no towels. We booked and paid for reserve parking and when we arrived our boss had no park available. We also phoned in advance to confirm his park and they said it was definitely available but made him park miles down the road as they gave his park to someone else when he arrived! Their cocktails and drinks at the bar are really weak, I don't recommend. Some of the bar staff and front desk staff were rude. The manager at breakfast was super lovely though! Their breakfast has a great range, also a great gluten free range.
