New Haven Motel

The motel has a wonderful feeling outside as soon as you pull into the driveway, clean carpark & the atmosphere is very cheerful. The lounge appears to be comfortable just like home . Well equipped & fresh also clean linen, I say that because the last motel I stayed at in Saint Johns was terrible, very scruffy & unhygienic ! This place is sparkling & dust free, I've enjoyed my stay & recommend this motel to other people, clean, friendly environment. Thank you management.

The outside looks basic so don't be fooled, its actually pretty good, and big inside. The family unit is like a little cottage inside. We got seperate loft beds going up some stairs, and seperate lounge, kitchen, and bedroom. Very clean, newish, spacious. My family really enjoyed it.Rooms: 5/5

Our motel room was very clean, fully equipped and confortable. Linen was fresh and clean. Couldnt ask for much more. It felt like home! Ian was very friendly, accomodating and welcoming. I highly recommend New Haven Motel Rooms: 5/5

I stayed at this motel last year for 3 weeks while my husband was in hospital. I have stayed in many motels throughout the years and this has to have been one of the best so far. The owner Ian was just amazing. The cleaning staff amazing. The rooms very clean and had everything I needed. I was upgraded to a family room to accommodate my family who were coming and going to visit my husband. This 2 bedroom unit was amazing. TV in the lounge as well as a TV in one of the bedrooms. Nice lounge space and great kitchen facilities. Beds were so comfortable. I could not have asked for better service then what I received from all people involved in running this place. Towels were replaced everyday and sheets were changed every second day. Thank you so much to Ian and staff keep up the amazing hospitality. I have since been back here 2 more times since then and will continue to go back there when ever visiting auckland.

Of all the motels I've stayed in over the years this is by far the absolute best. The rooms are amazing, large, clean, full equipped and very comfortable. The staff are great, super friendly and very accommodating. On one occasion one of the staff stayed behind at the office an hour after closing just so they can give me the key to my room. On another occasion I misplaced my wife's entire jewelry collection and only realized after checking out. I rushed back to find they had found it and kept it safe for me. Needless to say I was very impressed appreciative with their honesty. They have more then 8 sky channels playing so that's a massive bonus when you just wanna lay in bed. Bathrooms are fully equipped and the showers are great. Nice strong water pressure. Beds are very comfortable. The location is great. Right next to Lyndale, supermarkets and a couple of bars. Overall a great experience.

We stayed here for 3 months after we lost our home to Flooding. Ian the manager was ever so helpful and made us feel so welcome and there was nothing he wouldn't do to accommodate our needs. During lockdown this was a very stressful time for us and ALL the staff were amazing!!!!! Would recommend staying here to anyone.

Place was spotless and clean. Lovely chatty staff. Suprised to find it had pool/spa/sauna and gym. No pressure around checkout. They had the spa ready in the morning for us. Really nice experience.Rooms: 5/5

I found the room clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. What i really liked was the friendly host, he was lovely and accomodating. My only gripe is the wifi/ hotspot. I found it very slow, it kept turning off and of greatest concern was the frequent popups saying it was unsecure and dangerous. So i didnt use it at all. But in saying that, i will definitely be staying again.
