Staff where helpful and friendly. The food was good, and the room I stayed in was roomy, but very dated. There was a general lack of care and cleanliness evident both inside and outside which was very off putting. I hope it improves when the renovations are done as the place has great potential to be a lovely place to stay.

Some units are older style but really good location

Clean and tidy units. Stayed in the motel across from main one. We were on bottom unit some one in one above and whenever they walked across floor, creaking floorboards which woke me up during night. Restaurant meals wonderful and value for money.

Lovely place to stay. Very central to the city and Western Springs Stadium. Staff are very efficient and friendly. it's like home away from home. Will stay here again next time I'm in Auckland. Toni McIntosh.

Went to the Surrey pub, although the kitchen was closed the service was amazing, we could choose our own drinks and the atmosphere was amazing. We missed the beginning of the movie but was still a great night, will need to visit again when the kitchen is open, can't wait to try the woodfire pizza.

Friendly staff but sadly the food has always been midrange here. For the prices charged I expect a better food quality, including burger patties for example that are cooked through. Personal choice I guess but I've never felt the need to shout from the rooftops...

Great value old fashioned roomy hotel/motel. 24hr concierge. Recently renovated and not used for housing the homeless. Excellent free parking. Great in-house bar and restaurant serving excellent pizzas. Good balanced menu.

Nice deck to have a drink on. Didn't eat or stay here but looks fine. Good happy hour 4 to 6.30pm, only two tap beers, Moa, but at $6.50 at happy hour and $8 normally for a handle great value in the local area.
