A chance find…during a stopover to Milford Sound. We had the vegetarian pie and the coffee. Both were amazing. Wasn’t expecting a vegetarian pie to be so delicious- it was filled chickpeas and was so yummy, fresh and hot. It’s a hearty pie as usual so two of us shared and it was still satisfying. The coffee was also nice and bold.

Excellent pies, baked in store.nWe had the steak and cheese, steak bacon and mushrooms amd blueberry and apple pie. They were some of the best pies we had in New Zealand.nHighly recommend this place for staff friendliness and amazing, fresh, delicious pies.

Absolutely delicious pie with generous fillings and lots of flavor in every bite as compared to Sheffield Pie Shop and The Fairlie Bakehouse! Prefer this over the other 2 in terms of fillings! The pastry was great too but The Fairlie Bakehouse is better - definitely worth trying if you’re nearby! Heated up banana muffin is delicious!

We stumbled upon this unassuming little pie shop filled with locals — always a promising sign. Despite the long queue and just one person managing the coffee station, the service flowed with impressive efficiency.nnThe chicken pie was a highlight, featuring a perfectly golden, flaky crust that contrasted beautifully with the rich, succulent filling inside.nnBest enjoyed as a takeaway, bringing a warm pie and freshly made coffee to the lakeside turns a simple stop into a wonderfully scenic and satisfying moment.

OMG!  Amazing pies of all types. Best we’ve eaten so far on a two week tour of NZ.nnA must try is the pie with venison.  Delicious. The apple and blueberry pie is equally flavorful and excellent valuennA must stop in Te Anau.
