Merivale Mall

Visited Merivale Mall and had a great experience overall. The mall has a really nice, modern vibe and is always clean and well-maintained. There’s a good mix of shops, from fashion to everyday essentials, and plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby.nnParking is generally convenient, although it can get a bit busy during peak hours. The atmosphere is relaxed and not as crowded as larger malls, which makes it a pleasant place to shop or just spend some time.nnDefinitely one of the nicer shopping spots in Christchurch—highly recommended!

Currently, April/May 2026 the Mall is undergoing floor renovations. Please watch carefully where you step as the floor covering is very uneven. The shops are all open and serving their customers well. Bella Jewelry, which was in the the very middle of the Mall is down a side section between two shoe shops.

Nice fresh mall still working on it ,assistants all nice ,had a gluten free muffin at muffin break ,was soo nice ,I bought another two to take away ,ladies were very nice and obliging

This is a luxury mall, we go most days when we are staying in Merivale. The toilets are the best you will ever find. Wonderful selection of shops and the best fresh choice in NZ.

A good place to wander around when bargains are available otherwise it's mostly on the higher price range. Few nice options for food or coffee
