Memorial Park

If you have kids and if you're in Palmy, then you need to pay this playground and splash pad a visit ASAP! A brilliant play area for the kids and kids at heart. A lot of thought's gone into the design and build of this space! The hardest thing for the kids is deciding where to start Toilets and changing rooms are available, shade sails and trees to block the sun but still bring your sunscreen in summer!nnHonestly, if you've not been here, you need to find an excuse. What a beautiful park, we made the trip to come and try this park out with our 1 year old and 3 year old. They both had lovely time - alterations to swings and spaces meant that a variety of ages were catered for. We will visit again next time we are in Palmerston North

Very good experience to feed ducks. Very nice playground. I bring my son there 4 times a week. Kudos to the Palmy Council!

Great playground suitable for a wide range of ages. We went with our 22mo and there were heaps of options for him to do including a toddler play area, swings including a parent-baby swing, big fort accessed via a ramp so accessible for toddlers too, trampolines and more. A couple of water play/splash pad areas which would be great in summer, and they were just pouring the concrete for the new BBQ area while we were there.

Awesome place to take the kids really great for photos had a good experience got a bit puffed out chasing the kids around had us some lunch down there over all good vibes all around first time being there would definitely recommend perfect place to try wear the kids energy out lots of stuff to interact with and climb on will be back again in the future.
