Developing a Butterfly Park in Apollo Park Palmerston North NZ

Story

I have put together a plan to enhance our Apollo Park where the monarch butterfly has returned to overwinter and looks like numbers are up on last year, to develop this park with dedicated plantings aimed at attracting many different butterflies and providing winter feed for the overwintering Monarchs, that often stretch there wings on sunny days, this park will hopefully be a place where young and old can see a learn a little more about our wonderful Butterflies.

Great park & we saw lots of butterflies this morning-
Small but nice.
Great playground, shaded picnic table and always good to see how many butterflies /caterpillars can spot.
Beautiful little garden. Can't wait to see it in the height of butterfly season
Great play equipment for a range of ages. The butterfly garden is very nice and far enough from the playground so they aren't disturbed.
A great community park. This is in the city's "Streets named after Space related stuff", and has a cool rocket! Butterfly park is off to one side.
Great park. Big space, basketball hoop and playground. I have been going here since I was a little one and have never run into any trouble. If there was more TLC by the council it would be an even greater park.
The playground has a great range of activities as well as a butterfly area
It's fun for your kids under 10. It's really awesome when all the butterflys are out in summer.
Really dissapointing.. enjoyed our picinic under shade of big tree but everything else was rather sad looking and it was the third park we tried to enjoy and play area was fenced off and work being done.. these nice days one wants to enjoy the enviouroment!!!
