The Festival of Cultures is one of the longest-standing community events in Palmerston North.
This year, we promise it will be even more exciting and vibrant. It’s our chance to celebrate art, culture and lifestyle, and explore their connections to each other and our local community.
The 2018 open with the Lantern Parade on Saturday 17 March and a festival programme will run through to the main Saturday event on 24 March.
World Food, Craft and Music Fair – Saturday 24 March – The Square
This is your opportunity to see, hear and taste the world in one day. The fair is fully accessible to all of our community and offers free entertainment, food and craft stalls. It all takes happens in the events quadrant of The Square between 10am & 4pm.

The Festival of Cultures is organised by Palmerston North City Council in partnership with the Manawatu Multicultural Centre and is funded from the Palmerston North City Council Contracted Event Fund. We also appreciate the strong support from our community.
