I would give atmosphere, service and food absolutely no stars at all if there was an option to do so!!nHonestly I am truly upset and beyond disappointed with this store for the amount of times I have had to deal with the same problem, especially after being called in by the department manager to apologise for the behaviour of her staff and the lack of communication/knowledge amongst staff members who are employed at this branch.nLast night I had an experience with the staff late at night after a long shift at the hospital and I’m so glad a co worker was there to witness all of it.nThe store manager didn’t even seem to know that McDonald’s had a head office or department manager. As she looked very confused and said “I don’t have a department manager”, and if you are going to try tell me otherwise please go over CCTV.nEspecially choosing to be ignorant to a paying customer when I tried to tell her that McDonald’s had confirmed that I am able to purchase extra sauce with my meals.nI am not sure if staff are just being ignorant or there is truly a lack of communication amongst staff and management but this is just absolutely ridiculous and frustrating!!nAnd I’m not even getting started on the absolutely horribly lack of quality/presentation or effort in the food that we are spending our hard earned money on.nAbsolutely disgusting!

I went through the drive-thru at Botany McDonald's around 3 PM on a Sunday, and everything was absolutely excellent. I spoke to the team member at the speaker around 3:05 PM, and by 3:07 I was driving away with my order — incredibly fast and efficient service!nnBoth of the staff members at the windows were friendly, professional, and made the experience smooth and pleasant. The food? Unbelievable. I ordered the BBQ Bandit small combo on the app, which was hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The fries were crispy and just the way I like them. And the real surprise? The Barbecue Bandit burger — I tried it for the first time, and it was amazing. Packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.nnHuge shoutout to the team working that afternoon — you made my day! Ordered from drive thru around 30 minutes ago. The lettuce in my burger was awful—wilted, soggy, and definitely not fresh. I was too tired to go back for an exchange, but this really shouldn’t have been served in the first place. The staff need to pay much closer attention to the quality of what they’re putting into the burgers.

Usually this location is really good but today was off. Either it’s a problem with the amount of staff they have working, or just the overall attitude that the staff members have. Waited a good 20 mins for my coffee, and I wasn’t the only one who had to experience this, there was a full crowd of people waiting for theirs as well. Looked like there was only one staff member working the coffee station at midday, when the restaurant was packed. Not very efficient if you ask me.nnOn top of that, the staff member looked like she didn’t want to be there. Based on the amount of verbal abuse she was getting from the kitchen/management staff made me empathise with her because I certainly wouldn’t want to be there either. Respect to her for getting through it all and she apologised for the wait once my drink was ready.nnLooking around the restaurant I saw other staff members slumped over, motivation non existent, and the quality of the food presentation really did not help their case. The chicken wrap looked like it had been thrown together and fell apart as soon as I took it out of the wrapping paper.nnLots to improve on overall but the stars are for the coffee machine lady. Keep it up, hopefully they bring you some extra hands soon :

I visited the Ormiston McDonald’s branch today and had a disappointing experience with the service. I ordered and paid through the app, but when I asked for a straw, the staff member refused and claimed it was a “new rule.” This is confusing because every other McDonald’s branch still provides straws without any issue.nIt seems like this location needs proper training on customer service and consistency with company policies. A simple straw should not become a problem, especially when customers have already paid for their meal. I hope management reviews this and ensures staff communicate rules clearly and treat customers respectfully.
