I regularly visit McDonald's Albany and it’s always a great experience, especially if you’ve got kids. The play area is a huge bonus — it’s clean, well-maintained, and keeps the little ones entertained while you can actually sit back and relax for a bit.nOne thing I keep coming back for is their iced coffee — it’s consistently good every single time. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or bringing the family along, the service is always fast and friendly, and the place has a nice, easy-going vibe.nIt’s one of those spots that just works — reliable, convenient, and perfect for both a quick stop or a family visit. Definitely a go-to in Albany.

I want to share my disappointment with my experience at McDonald's Albany. After this experience, my family has decided that we will no longer visit this McDonald's, or any McDonald's in the future.nnWe received a $95 parking notice for exceeding the 90-minute parking limit by only around 30 minutes. We weren't parked there while shopping somewhere else, we were actually inside McDonald's, spending over $100 on food while attending a children's birthday party. As anyone with young children knows, when kids are playing and having fun, it's incredibly easy to lose track of time.nnI explained the situation to Smart Compliance Management when I appealed the notice, hoping some common sense and customer goodwill would be shown. Instead, I received a cold response telling me that I should have read the signs more carefully and that I still had to pay the full amount.nnTo make matters worse, after payment processing fees, the total came to more than $97, almost $100. Nearly $100 for being just 30 minutes over the limit, despite already spending more than $100 at McDonald's that day.nnWe weren't first-time customers. We have visited McDonald's with our children many times over the years for chips, nuggets, and family outings. I have always been careful with parking limits, and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me. To be hit with almost a $100 charge over a genuine mistake is shocking.nnA restaurant with an indoor playground is designed to encourage families to stay, relax, and spend time together. Penalising genuine paying customers in this way feels excessive, unreasonable, and completely out of proportion.nnMcDonald's should be ashamed that this is the experience families are left with after choosing to spend their time and money there. Instead of making loyal customers feel valued, this policy leaves them feeling punished for an honest mistake.nnThis experience has permanently changed our opinion of McDonald's. We had already been questioning whether we wanted to keep eating fast food, and although visiting McDonald's was never a weekly habit, it was something we did occasionally as a family.nnAs we've learned more about nutrition and started paying closer attention to what goes into the food we eat and feed our children, we had already been reconsidering our decision to visit McDonald's. This experience was simply the final strawnnI sincerely hope McDonald's takes responsibility for the way genuine paying customers are treated and reconsiders how parking is managed, especially at family restaurants with children's play areas. No family should leave after spending over $100 on a meal only to receive an almost $100 parking charge for overstaying by just 30 minutes. That is not the kind of customer experience any family should expect.

Bought an iced chai here. It was nice but a bit too sweet. Customer service was okay. The drive-thru was really busy.

Its 5pm on a Friday night and there are two people getting the orders and one person in the kitchen in a busy food court of the mall. There are about 25 people waiting for orders. The young man and the lady are working exceptionally hard and doing a fantastic job. I got my order from the machine and took it and paid for it and got no receipt and then couldn't see my order on the screens. The young man was very helpful in finding it and giving me my order number. Come on management, do better for your employees and your customers!!

Went here at 11pm and the staff were so friendly and energetic, was very impressed. The food was freshly made. The owners need to give the night shift staff a raise
