Maungakiekie Golf Club

We really enjoyed playing this beautiful course!nnExcellent conditions, fast greens and some challenging holes.nnA few blind shots where you may want to double check the group in front of you has already finished the hole.nnVery reasonable prices and fast pace of play .

Played 9th Dec 24.nnIt's not anything fancy but!n5 stars!nI felt so welcomed here.nNo nasty faces or comments just friendly people all over.nFrom Brett manning the Recep to our playing partner, Hiong Dongge. Everyone were just greets and smiles and all that candy.nThe quality of the fairway were good enough not great but for what we paid, I can't complain.nVery easy going course and quite challenging due to the crazy ups and downs of the fairways and so even with the cool air and darkish clouds, still was a workout.nnPlayers are mainly Koreans and locals I think.nAll timely too.nCan't help but not give a 5 star for the human-welcome-feel that playing here gave me.

A pleasant club. Good layout. Would love to see more par 5s and I think a little bit pricy compared with other similar clubs but well worth the trip. Greens very consistent which was nice. Stay on the fairway!! Good putting and chipping greens to warm up.

Customer service is absolutely shocking here!!! From the moment you call up for information and try book a tee time. You meet with anger and frustration. Obviously doesn't want new members, or the money to play a round. Heres me thinking golfs a gentlemen's game, about manners, and respect. Highly disappointed with my experience and highly recommend you don't contact this place unless you wont to feel belittled and threatened. For Someone who works in customer service he should be ashamed of himself and his attitude.

Great golf club on the outskirts of Auckland city. It's very challenging, living up to it's name of Big Mountain.nnNot the best views from the course, but a good outlook across the Waitakere ranges from the club house.
