Akarana Golf Club

I’m very disappointed with how this golf club handled younger players. Instead of encouraging and supporting them, the staff were dismissive and unwelcoming. Golf should be about inclusion, learning, and sportsmanship, but the attitude here was the opposite. It’s disheartening to see a club that could play such an important role in developing young golfers choose to make them feel unwelcome instead.nnI truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on creating a more positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all players — especially the next generation who represent the future of the sport.

Great golf course, an little extra effort has been added over the last year or so, looking really good now

Ran a training session in one of the rooms - fabulous team. Went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right.nAmazing food - 10/10

Really appalled by the clubs handling of a very simple situation, made way harder than necessary, could have just pointed out to a 15 year old kid just enjoying a day off with his mates, that the shorts were not appropriate, as he had played there a couple of months prior, and no one said anything to him !!! Instead the club must be really in dire straits if they have to snatch pocket money from a junior player …. Totally unacceptable behaviour!!!!
