Mamma Mia Pizzeria Restaurant

Came in for dinner, service was good, ordered 4 pasta dishes 2 chicken, 1 Bolognese and 1 salmon along with 1 large meat lover pizza and garlic bread. All meals were tasty and great, serving portions was ok but could've used about more meat in all our pasta dishes. Prices were reasonable. Nice little Italian diner. 4 stars because parking can be little tricky to find at peak times and pasta dishes could've used a tad more protein in them.

What stunned me is this Italian restaurant was established in 1972 - 50 Years old ! What a remarkable business. The spaghetti is perfectly cooked. The location is supreme, right in the center of the popular mission bay village.

First time goer. Food is great. Friendly staff. Would go again. If you don't like red sauce with your mussels, you can ask for white sauce. The mustard sauce was a bit strong to my liking.

Not near as good as they used to be. Not particular friendly or welcoming. Everything was just average . Sauce on main was nice but the veges were rather bland and the potatoes were stodgy and seemed like they had been sitting in a warmer for a long time. My hubby thought his dish was akin to mass produced canteen food. My apple juice was the most watered down juice ive ever had. Garlic pizza was below average. This place just isn't the same as I remembered it.

If I could give zero stars I would. I felt underwhelmed by the food and whole experience, truly. Wasn't child friendly and customer service was forced. Paid $71 for small pizza, garlic bread and fettuccine. Pizza was leftover, just not worth the money. The guy waiting our table was so rude, I felt like walking out of there. He had a very unwelcoming presence and so did the guy who took our payment. They kept taking away our plates before we were even finished with them?????? I am so unimpressed guys. Please do better. ***review update*** Just rang to speak to the owner, he started going off on the phone after I told him about what happened. Like sir, I'm trying to help you and be honest here, do you really think it's ok to treat people like that? Kid-friendliness: No, not kid friendly. Got some free parenting advice though.

A girlfriend and I were craving Italian and we went here for her belated birthday dinner. Service was good and location is also good but have to say our meals were quite average. Quite dry and bland - won't be ordering the seafood pasta again - it didn't wow me. Perhaps the pizza will be more of a winner so will visit again to try the pizza. The garlic bread was fine but it could maybe have been a tad more buttery.

Great pizza, reasonable price and super friendly and helpful staff. We ordered a very simple cheese pizza to take away for my son and he loved it. He is now asking for it everytime we mentioned "Mission Bay." : The paking is a bit challenging but would definitely go again. Parking: There plenty of parkings on the street but because it's in front of the beach it's seems to be busy all the time.

Mama Mia was so good went like 2 days ago fettuccine was so delicious the chicken was so tender and the waitress was so nice, we ordered fettuccine and a pepperoni pizza everything was so yummy noodles were delicious too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND I give 5 stars

Was an impromptu drop in as we were craving for pasta n had eaten there twice. Service was gd, the seafood was a bit overcooked but the pasta sauce was flavorsome n perfect! Comes in big serving n price was reasonable. Garlic bread was full of garlic to our liking. Will come back again
