Friendly staff. It is a big store but easy to find whatever you are looking for. Parking is easy with under ground parks. Located in the heart of Hamilton. The main transport hub for the cities public transport is handy. Just across the road. Open till midnight. Disability parking spaces are available.
Went in, in NOVEMBER, to buy our Xmas shopping. The til broke as we were checking out and it took my money and KMART still have NOT refunded me, contacted me, or replied to any of my inquiries. I have visited the store, physically, twice to try resolve this with the manager but no one could help me or knew the process. Told me they would “look into it”. Took my details and I haven’t heard back since. 2 months wait to get my refund is crazy. How do you double charge your customers and then turn a blind eye. It’s disgusting. Also your mangers told me that this is a constant problem since KMart bought new self check out tiles. I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP!
Big, cheap, slightly depressing. Only self-service checkouts operating when I visited, I'm not even sure whether they have checkouts with real people. Staff were few and far between. Overall I think I prefer to get my cheap stuff from The Warehouse.
Customer Service is good. They had everything I needed to get, great clearance options and plenty of parking spaces as well.
I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Kmart Hamilton on the evening of September 21st. After seeking assistance with a mold issue in my home, a staff member mistakenly recommended a humidifier instead of the necessary dehumidifier. When I returned to exchange the humidifier, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior from the manager on duty. Not only did she refuse to assist me, but when I asked for her name, she arrogantly replied, “I am famous, and the big bosses at Kmart know me.” This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable.nnIt’s important to note that I was eventually able to receive a refund at another Kmart store without any issues. This highlights the inconsistent customer service within the Kmart brand. I urge management at Kmart Hamilton to reevaluate their training and approach to customer interactions. No one deserves to be treated so disrespectfully.nnI hope this review serves as a warning to other customers: be cautious if you need assistance at this location. There are other Kmart stores that understand the value of good customer service.nn#CustomerServiceMatters
